I read The Achievement Habit: Stop Wishing, Start Doing, and Take Command of Your Life because it was a sale book on the kindle and I've always been a fan of achievement. But I think the audience is more for people who don't acheive anything or have problems deciding what to do. I did enjoy some of his stories and got a couple of good tips out of it, but would not read again.

So I have finally finished reading the The Lord of the Rings series after all these years. Definitely enjoyed the third - The Return of the King - the best. I tried to read this many times back in the 60s and 70s but I couldn't get past all the names of the places and the characters. But now that I've seen the movies and there are wikis to explain who is who, I really enjoyed it. I loved the friendship between Sam and Frodo.

One other thing, I was a little behind on my book a week goal, and I had a quiet week or two, so I've focused mainly on reading with at least 2 or 3 hours a day of reading. And I have been listening to audiobooks when exercising or doing housework. And now I am a couple books ahead! Will have to do this again when or if I get behind again. But basically if I read or listen an hour a day I will have no problem making 52 books by the end of the year.

I am reading Red Rabbit by Tom Clancy. I thought that I had read all the Clancy's back in the 80's and 90's but this one was written in 2002 and I don't think I ever read it. I had forgotten how much I enjoyed reading Clancy. Definitely getting lost in the pages in this one!
