Derek Schmitz | 2 comments Hello all, I am working with Createspace to get my book out to public. This will be print and ebook format. Its 14 pages of, in my opinion, good content. What should I price the print version at? Thanks!

Alyson Stone (alysonserenastone) | 49 comments Are you doing hardcover or paperback? Most picture books that I buy are between $4.00 and $6.00. There are a lot that are more expensive, but I will not pay more than that.

Books priced between $4-6 are produced by publishers that can afford to print 100k copies. They get a cheaper printing price because of the bulk amounts they order.

Children's books cost a lot more to print than a regular paperback so take that into consideration when you price it.
