Favorite Marilyn Monroe Movie

I think I have only seen Gentlemen Prefer Blondes.

I like River of no Return with Robert Mitchum and Rory Calhoun. I like it because it’s a Western and also there’s a little boy in the movie and Marilyn is so good with kids in movies.

My favorite is Niagara because she is a femme fatale and not just a ditzy blonde, but Gentlemen Prefer Blondes is a close second.

I don’t know that I’ve ever seen one of her movies. I’ll have to check Netflix and see if I have any to watch.

How to Marry a Millionaire is probably my favorite. I have seen several of her movies including Some Like it Hot, Seven Year Itch, There's No Business Like Show Business and Gentleman Prefer Blondes. I should probably watch one of her more dramatic roles like Niagara.

This book has also been made into a TV mini-series if you can find it. Looks like Netflix carries it but a long wait. Maybe they have one copy.

I’ve only seen two. Some Like It Hot and Gentlemen Prefer Blondes. I liked Some Like It Hot the best.

It is so long since I've seen one of her movies it is hard to judge, but I remember The Misfits as being fascinating.

I'm not sure I've seen her in anything other than Some like it hot. I loved that one though.

I watched Some Like It Hot today and it’s quite funny. The older movies I used to watch weren’t quite so suggestive/racy, so that struck me. I also thought Marilyn was more natural than most of the actors.
