Amritha Raghunath | 1 comments Hey guys!

I am a 20 year old student currently pursuing my final year of Bachelor of Arts in Economics.

Reading has always been my passion since the time I remember thinking for myself. And I've always been part of various literary groups in school and college, currently holding the position of the editor of the Sociology association of my college.

So, why not club these for doing something I enjoy immensely as well as help out budding writers?

I am looking to offer my beta reading services to anyone interested. I usually prefer the following genres:
-Romantic Comedy
-Women's Fiction/Chick Lit
-Adult Fiction

My reports will be done in a week or two.

I think this is the time I let you all know that this is my first time attempting Beta Reading.

You can contact me via email at

Please do visit my blog as well :

Thank You!
Have a great today and all the days to come!

T.L. Martin | 82 comments Amritha beta read the beginning chapters of my dark ms. For this being her first beta report, it was impressive. She was blunt and straightforward, which I appreciated. She mentioned a few things others hadn't. It took about one month to receive feedback for 7 chapters, which is understandable do to her schedule and the holidays. The report was rather short compared to what I'm used to, and didn't include much detail, but it was helpful nevertheless. Additionally, she does welcome questions at the end of her report, and she was a pleasure to work with.

Laynie (layniewrites) | 13 comments Hey Amritha,

I have a 60k YA/NA Romance that is ready for beta readers if you are interested. If it sounds like a good fit you can message me here or at I've got the word, PDF, and MOBI formats available to send over.

Adeline Evans is your typical, bored, high school senior obsessed with a celebrity she knows she will never meet. When her best friend drags her to a music festival her world gets turned upside down as Jude Blair, himself, is drawn to her. But is Addie ready to deal with the complications and drama that comes with dating someone so famous? From paparazzi to a scheming ex-girlfriend, it seems everyone is out to come in between Addie and the man she has wished to be with for so long. Things come to a climatic head thousands of miles away from her comfort zone when she makes a choice to visit him at home in England and finds herself struggling with anxiety and insecurities that threaten to ruin her perfect love story. A diverse cast of characters supports Addie through her journey to becoming a woman, whatever shape that may take.

Gill Fernandez | 28 comments I have just received and read Amritha's report on the romance Love Forever 2 (working title). I owe Amritha a really big thank you for the time and work she has generously given to beta reading this latest work. Her report was extremely detailed and very fair indeed. It will provide the basis for the next revision and I am sure will help me create a better book.

Serena (sacronin) | 8 comments Amritha did a really nice job providing a report and answering all my extra questions about my manuscript. She read it a lot faster than I anticipated, and her report was very useful to gauge reactions to certain aspects of plot, characterization, and pacing, as well as give an overall impression of the book. I also provided her a document with many of my own questions for her to answer, and she did so while drawing on specific instances in the book. Overall, I'm very satisfied with her work, and I'd recommend her to anyone looking for general impressions.

Savignon Swimmer | 9 comments Hi! I'm currently writing a novel, and i'd love a critique of the first few pages. It's a YA Sci-Fi/Fantasy/Mythology, heres a quick synopsis: Alden Pendragon, descendant of Arthur, is the Odinson. The prophecized bringer of the Golden Age of man, he embarks on a mission to re assemble the round table, and travel to the lost land of Valhalla, and fullfill the prophecy! I'd live it if you could read it, and thank you!

N.S. Austin | 29 comments Amritha is an awesome, competent, and insightful beta reader. She finished my 80K word manuscript in record time, and provided a thorough, well organized report. Her advice and recommendations were spot on. What I need from a beta is an unbiased view of my writing and story impact, framed in a way that doesn't crush my ego. Amritha achieved that balance beautifully. I'm confident my story will be better because of Amritha's generous contribution of time and expertise.

I highly recommend Amritha's services to anyone seeking an outstanding beta reader. She's a pleasure to work with too!

Martin Felando Amritha,

I have a 54K YA scifi fantasy that needs beta reading. It's a major rewrite after first edition won IPPY's National Book Award. First 5 pages are on Amazon here:

I know you're interested in Women's Fiction/Chick Lit, and there a lots of women kicking butt in this story - read the reviews women gave the first edition on Amazon.

If interested email

Marie Christopher (mariechristopher) | 8 comments Hi Amritha, It looks like you're super busy, but if you do have the time, I would really appreciate feedback on my romantic survival-thriller (in total, it's about 99K, but I can send just a few chapters as well). It's inspired by writers like Nora Howard and Julie Garwood.

Brief summary:
The One That Got Away - a woman who had been the sole survivor of a serial killer finds herself once again living her worst nightmare when he breaks out of prison and comes after her. She's found by a US Marshal and is supposed to be taken into protective custody, but they are ambushed en route. Stranded in the wilderness, and hunted by a mad man, they have to rely on each other in order to survive.
