Michelle Poirier | 5 comments The last four years have been tough due to a lot of personal changes there simply was no time to read. My dad passed away in January so I have more time and was looking for a way to keep his memory alive. He was the person who taught me to love reading; in fact, he used to read the same books as me then quizz me to see if I got the true “essence” of a book.LOL. So I figured I would get back to reading and set my challenge at 48. To be honest I will be thrilled to reach 48 but I’m more interested in the journey to the 48th book. I guess in a real way I’m taking my dad along for the ride even if it’s only in spirit.

So sorry to hear about your dad Michelle, my condolences. I hope you’ll have a wonderful reading journey next year, it’s a beautiful way to honor his memory. May you find some amazing reads along the way!
