Sethe and her daughter Denver live in a house that is haunted by the spirit of her dead two year old daughter Beloved. Then Paul D, an acquaintance from when Sethe was a slave shows up and soon after so does a young woman named Beloved. This book covers some important topics but it was so slow to read. I just couldn't get into it. I also didn't like all the magical realism. I don't mind magical realism in general it was just too odd for me in this book. I don't know if all Morrison books are like this but I'm in no hurry to pick up another one.

Yeah, I found it boring. Plus - magical realism. I think I also gave it 2 stars.
