Where does this book fit?

All right. My husband bought Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House and I am going to read it. Where does it fit? I have already read something for the alliteration prompt. Is it a political memoir - I guess I could pull that from the 2016 list......

If you don't like the cover, it can fit the ugly cover prompt!

The copy I have is really pretty but you might have an edition with an ugly cover?
If you don't mind really stretching a prompt, it is not set on the sea but a lot of the book takes place by the sea and there are a lot of naval officers as key characters.

I was thinking about putting Fire and Fury in the problem facing society prompt.....Or maybe you could find somewhere else for your alliteration book and put it in there.

I suppose it could also fit "song lyrics" (there are more than a few songs with "into the water" in the lyrics, I'm sure - I can immediately think of "He Lives In You" from Lion King 2). I don't suppose any of the characters are twins?

Classics are great for the "book mentioned in another book" prompt too! If you need specifics to feel comfortable using that prompt, there's a book called The Jane Austen Book Club. I haven't read it (but I saw the movie) and they mention all of her finished novels.
Would The Complete Tales and Poems of Winnie-the-Pooh work for anything besides the children's classic prompt. I've read them when I was a kid and really want to reread.
Maybe a novel based on a real person since Christopher Robin is based on A.A. Milne's son.
And Winnie the Pooh is a real stuffed bear. He's in the New York Public Library. Teddy Bears are people too.
Does anyone have any idea where the book Blood Sisters by Jane Corry could fit? I've seen a few songs that have the lyric "blood sister" in them, can I use it for the song lyrics prompt?
One could also argue that Winnie the Pooh is an allegory.

11. A Book by a female author that uses a male pseudonym (her publisher made her use her initials to hide the fact that she was female; it wasn't her choice to use her initials therefore I would totally consider it appropriate for this category)
36. A Book set in the decade you were born in (If anyone is born in the 60s - this is set in 1965)
49. A Book about a problem facing society today - Gang Violence!
50. A Book recommened by someone else taking the challenge - ME! =)

The Outsiders is set in 1965. S.E. Hinton says so in the FAQ of her website.
The movie came out in 1983 though which is probably why Joanne thought it was set in the 80's
Hi Stacey, yeah my mistake, it was corrected earlier. I definitely thought 80's because of the movie, and then it's like 25 years since I read it... Aaaand I didn't do my research (ouch).
Where might Eragon fit? Haven't read it in years, and I've mostly forgotten the story so thought it'd be a good one to read this year!

If you've seen the movie, there's also the 'movie you've already seen' prompt.
Or you could go to the 'ask for a recommendation' thread and see if someone would be willing to recommend it as a good book so you can use it to fill that prompt.

My cousin really wants me to start the Sigma Series by James Rollins. I kind of want to start it because I want something to be a le to talk about with them.Any idea which prompts Sandstorm by James Rollins would fit? Preferably not the one about a prompt from previous years.

@Crumb - you could put the Bees in 'animal in the title', if you haven't used that.

Other than categories like "author with your name" or "local author" which may or may not work for you (I'm guessing "no" or you would've thought of them already!) I can't think of any categories these two would fit in. Before I Fallwas made into a movie - have you seen it? Then you could use that category ... It's been a few years since I read it, but maybe one of the characters in Feed was gay? The categories are tough this year!
