We welcome all levels of roleplaying ability in this group. However, please try to spell things as correctly as you can, and to use proper punctuation. At the very least, try to make your posts understandable, so that things are not confusing for other readers. We don't expect a novella-length post every time, because we understand that people get busy and this is not always possible, but please try not to write one-liners all the time. Elaboration will help us get to know your characters better! Also, please write in either first person (past or present tense), or third person (past tense).
Be respectful to other members out of character. You may not get along with everyone, but please try to refrain from quarreling if possible. If there is a disagreement, and it cannot be settled amicably, you may ask for a moderator to help mediate, or to judge who might be at fault. Ideally, I would like us all to get along here. But if we can't all be friends, at least let's not be enemies.
Please don't god-mod. For those of you who don't know what this is, it's controlling other people's characters without permission.
All characters must be approved before roleplaying. Upon approval, your character will receive a floor. If a broken doll, she will also receive a roommate.
Try to let us know if you're going to be inactive for a while. I definitely understand that certain things can get in the way of Goodreads, but if something is going to keep you away for a while, just post quickly to let us know not to expect you back for a while. Don't feel any pressure to rush back, though, if it's something very important that's keeping you away.
Have fun!

Flagging a post will send it to the Goodreads Customer Care team for review.
We take abuse seriously in our discussion boards.
Only flag comments that clearly need our attention.
As a general rule we do not censor any content on the site.
The only content we will consider removing is spam,
slanderous attacks on other members,
or extremely offensive content (eg. pornography, pro-Nazi, child abuse, etc).
We will not remove any content for bad language alone, or being critical
of a particular book.
