It has an ASIN but isn't a kindle (amazon page confirms format as HC and is sold by third party) couldn't find an entry for a book with that title on worldcat or on amazon (other than this ASIN version)

Nabing feels weird because it seems to be a book? But ASIN on HC is also incorrect ...

Sandra | 23230 comments The ASIN is just a reseller tool. Just remove the ASIN and leave the book.

☕ Lachgas ♿ (lachgas) | 6177 comments but the ASIN will get reimported then won't it?
So making a new entry with the ASIN and nabing it instantly (to prevent the reimport) the way to go?

I believe these ASIN's can just be removed and will not be re-imported.

lethe | 13669 comments These ASINs are for single, second-hand copies only, not for whole editions. I believe Amazon only re-imports current editions with ASINs.

The Amazon importers have only brought in ASIN-bearing records with format Kindle or Audible for several years.
