Gabrielle Kinman I love this book Portrait in Sephia, it was also a sequel or a prequel to some other book. It seemed to be so much like a Ancient Chilean family heritage and history. It is also a sentiment of the Victorian era though not much though. Crisp elegant s classy and sophisticated. Very feminine with appropriate portrayal of how women would be in that time.

Geoffrey Nutting Sequel to 'Daughter of Fortune' (not really written as a series). Daughter of Fortune is much more Victorian, but you don't ever end up with a weak heroine.
