Ishiguro's The Unconsoled

This is one book I finally put down (about page 150 or so - the entire novel is 500+ pages) and said to myself, "I have other better books to read or other things to do!


I am curious...has anyone out there finished this novel...and actually enjoyed it? If so, please let me know what you enjoyed about the book.

HA! I was also really disappointed by this one. I could never tell what was going on with his family, or whether he ever actually made it to his concert. I made it through to the end, but wished I'd spent the time doing something else instead. Really confusing and unsatisfying.
