Yes! (view spoiler)

You bet. Now, I just hope (view spoiler)
Terry wrote: "These four were called Charlie's True Children (not sure why)" (view spoiler)Ginger, it's a pitty that this last scene isn't in the kindle edition of the book. Why did they cut it? This is one example of why the author's notes at the ending of a book are worth reading (and printing in this case). Glad my edition had this in it.

I totally agree Feli. I don't understand this as well. Such a bummer and I'm glad Terry mentioned it this morning!

I was worried that some other editions might not include it, or that someone might skip it since it seems to be buried in the edition I have. Glad it was in yours, Feli!
Finally finished! My kids are off this week too so it was difficult to read amongst the many distractions they provide...but I was determined!(view spoiler)
Feli wrote: "Terry wrote: "These four were called Charlie's True Children (not sure why)" [spoilers removed] That makes perfect sense, Feli! (view spoiler)
Addy wrote: "Finally finished! My kids are off this week too so it was difficult to read amongst the many distractions they provide...but I was determined![spoilers removed]"Awesome, Addy! (view spoiler) I'm also looking forward to reading some more of Joe's books. I like the looks of The Fireman.

I completely forgot about it until you mentioned it Addy. Thanks for such a fun BR! I had a blast.
Terry wrote: "We'll have to do another Buddy-read when we can all squeeze it in!"Sounds good to me! :D
Wow! That’s great news Sarah! This was a fantastic buddyread:). We will have to do another with joe hill in mind.
Addy wrote: "Finally finished! Would have made a good ending, either :) (I am not a Fan of happy endings as you might guess now :D)
Another Hill Buddy Read would be fine! Maybe we could do The Fireman sometime this year. Seems most of us haven't read it yet.
Thank you all for the great BR! It was a lot of fun!
Yea def was a awesome buddy read! This is only my second joe hill book, but I am def liking his style. I would def want to read The Fireman whenever if you guys are down to tackle this titan lol
Sarah wrote: "Addy wrote: "I would love to see this turn into a movie!"It's in the works as a miniseries for AMC!"
I cannot wait to see that!! I love mini series that are made from books. Did anybody see the new Mist tv series? I thought it was soooo much better then the movie.
I just downloaded the audiobook. Got other things to read first, but I am definitely looking forward to this one. Currently reading Horns at the moment, and enjoying it.
No, I haven’t seen the Mist yet. I’ll check it out. Thanks Adamus! And I’m totally game for a BR on The Fireman.
I enjoyed The Mist TV show also, thought it was fun B-movie horror. I'm going to track down a copy of The Fireman so I'll be ready!
Kady wrote: "I just downloaded the audiobook. Got other things to read first, but I am definitely looking forward to this one. Currently reading Horns at the moment, and enjoying it."Good luck with it, Kady! I've heard the audiobook was very good for this one.

Thanks Terry :)
I know I'm late to the party, but I finally finished it last night. It was awesome!!! The very last passage definitely seems to be leaving it open for a sequel. If I remember correctly, Joe Hill stated at the book signing that he would be interested in writing a book about the wraith and Charlie Manx. So maybe like a prequel?
Christina wrote: "I know I'm late to the party, but I finally finished it last night. It was awesome!!! The very last passage definitely seems to be leaving it open for a sequel. Has anyone read or heard about the graphic novels about the Wraith?
Wraith

Addy wrote: "Yes, I watched The Mist on tv and enjoyed it a lot. Waiting for the second season."Yea me too. I enjoyed the series a lot I really hope they come out with season 2 they said it depends on how popular the first season became the network would keep it for a second season, but it was much better than the movie
Adamus wrote: "Yea a prequel would be awesome specially to hear His story and to learn about other people like Vic and Manx. "I agree! That would be cool to see more people with this ability or even how Manx got started with his Wraith.

Not sure if you guys have it, but would you guys want to do a buddy read sometime with Dan Simmons - The Terror?
Adamus wrote: "Not sure if you guys have it, but would you guys want to do a buddy read sometime with Dan Simmons - The Terror?"I know I would. I've been wanting to read that for awhile.
I likely wouldn't be able to do until February or March though depending on others schedules. January is just too packed now with other BRs and some book club books.
I am the same Ginger been wanting to read it forever, but yea whenever your ready we can plan it out and this gives people time to get it if they wanna join
I wish I knew how to add some of the really awesome pictures from the NOS4A2 comic book. It really gives you a great image of Charlie Manx and other characters. Can't imagine what actor would play him. I encourage a google image search to anyone who is interested.

Adamus wrote: "I am the same Ginger been wanting to read it forever, but yea whenever your ready we can plan it out and this gives people time to get it if they wanna join"Sounds good! Maybe we can do it in February? It's not that far away and it's still winter. :D
I want to read The Terror, also, but I'm not sure I'll be able to fit it in until later in the year. I did see that someone started a BR already for it to start on Feb 1, I believe so it could be finished before the show starts on AMC this spring.
The Terror has been in my TBR pile FOREVER!!! My January is pretty packed with books I'm reading so maybe Feb or March for me if we are voting.
I'm super flexible on The Terror and when to read it. Thanks for the heads up Terry! I think I might end up joining that BR.
Now to get through all these books in January. *laughing hysterically* ;)
I had no idea that there was a show on AMC?!! NICE!!
Ginger wrote: "Adamus, here's the link to the BR starting on Feb. 1st.The Terror BR"
I just wanted to post the link, Ginger :) You were faster. I missed a lot here, today ^^
I asked several days ago for a BR for The Terror and now we're 3 or 4 people starting in February, as Ginger already posted. It would be cool if some you would join! It's really a huge book but I can't wait to start! :)
