Lord help me, but I'm going to try to read two books this time as I couldn't decide which I liked the look of more, so I've downloaded Death's Twilight and am looking forward to the read
Thanks so much, David! If there's anything you've got questions about or want know more about, I'm happy to chat. Have a great day!
I'm about halfway through and enjoying it so far. I may put some questions on the spoilers thread, though I expect I'll be finished in a day or two so may wait until then
Life got in the way at about 75% which was really irritating, as I really wanted to know what happened! I'm past 90% now so I think I'll wait 'til the end before posting any questions. Intriguing world you've built though, and kick-ass characters.
I'm afraid I'm only 25% in but that means nothing - I could be finished by tomorrow! I am enjoying it so far - interesting characters, like the little references to 20th century entertainment. The whole concept of Letters is deliciously disturbing. What made you think of that, A.J.?
Good question JA. I was wondering that myself. Should we take that to the Spoilers thread so AJ can elaborate?

Slade and Hotaru were fun to write, and I found that they evolved and took on distinctly different personalities than those that I created them with.
As for the world, I tried to create a world where the Emissaries had anything - and everything - they could want, while the general population was more "normal" - albeit just above the poverty line. This dichotomy is explored more in Book Two.
Looking forward to your questions!
Oh no, did I read that right? Dubstep survives the Apocalypse? Dystopia, indeed! :-) Just getting started, enjoying it so far.

our Sci-fi pick for July/August is Death's Twilight by A J Leavens. I'm hoping he will pop in to talk about the book and answer questions. Otherwise this is the ongoing discussion thread for while you are reading so no spoilers here please. Looking forward to this one!
Happy reading :)
