I haven't made my mind up yet. I enjoyed "Horse Legs" thoroughly, and I thought that "Green Onions" had a remarkable fluidity.

Ansus I liked Hell Screen the most

David Yukio Mishima adapted Hell Screen for the stage. Kabuki, as I recall. It's available in Mishima on Stage: The Black Lizard and Other Plays.
