Changed it to Dahn :)
Alright, I updated everything and we're doing well. :) Let's keep going these last two days!We are currently looking for I, D, D, and L then we can open up another round. Keep a look out and let me know what you find!
Finished Keeping the Castle and I'll add the other two. :) I'm hoping to finish one more for tomorrow, but it might depend on what letters I can find in my stack. We'll see how it goes!
Kme_17 wrote: "finished Dune"For some reason it just says "Aug" on your shelf. Do you mind setting the day, please? Just don't want to get confused in later weeks when the mods are double checking. :) Thanks!
Hi everyone, I'm playing a bit with the titles so for a bit the in thread post won't be accurate. Until I get everything sorted (sometime this evening) please refer to the Spreadsheet. Sorry to throw you off!Currently I'm missing two D's and an R, but I can reshuffle things if needed, just let me know!

I tried and it still came up Aug don't know why
Ok, I'll just throw a note in about that tomorrow when I post our weekly results. Thanks for checking, though!
I've read two books today. The Truth About Alice by Jennifer Mathieu
Possible characters: Alice and Elaine
We Were Liars by E. Lockhart
Possible characters: Gat and Mirren
Kaitlin wrote: "Jessica, how was We Were Liars? It's on my TBR list :)"It screwed up my mind, confused the heck out of me, and made me cry, yet I still liked it? It's weird, but I actually liked the fact that this book messed me up.

Will you add these to your Wheel-a-Thon shelf please? :)
CassieV wrote: "Will you add these to your Wheel-a-Thon shelf please? :) "Done! Sorry! I keep forgetting!

That's what it says when the date is the first, just the month. I don't know why it does that, but just assume it is the first when that happens.
If you view the review it says the actual date read.
Good morning team! In an effort to make things easier on our mods, if you don't mind, would you all move your books read yesterday to either July 31 or today (August 2nd)? That will eliminate the problem with goodreads not showing the date. Thanks guys!
Currently reading The Kiss of Deception by Mary E. Pearson. The series is called The Remnant Chronicles. Main character is Lia.I'll let you know if anything else works!
Finished Tell the Wolves I'm Home yesterday (marked 7/31) and just finished Allegiant, and can I just say "wtf?" I postponed it because of the response I saw from my friends, and now I understand why they felt that way. I enjoyed seeing the ending of the story, but my goodness.

Yeah, I mean I like that the author was brave enough to make some controversial writing decisions, but I think she could have done it better, the ending just didn't feel right.
Corey wrote: "Yeah, I mean I like that the author was brave enough to make some controversial writing decisions, but I think she could have done it better, the ending just didn't feel right."I agree, it felt like she wrote the ending just for shock value, rather than because it was actually called for in the story.

I found a slot for this, so just let me know as soon as you finish it :)
Just a few more hours to get any last minute books in! :) We will find spots for whatever you've got, so throw them at me, lol!
I finished Kiss of Deception! And that's it for me this week! I know I won't be able to read anything else before the deadline XD
Kme_17 wrote: "probably not going finish after party by deadline my audiobook decide to be wonky on me sorry guys"No worries! Things happen :). Just save it for next week

haha! I'll get it updated. At this point I'm just anxiously awaiting the new word. I don't want to start something that won't fit! Oh the hazards of reading challenges, lol!
I just got the Last Hero on audiobook (sadly this weeks word made me want to check it out since I also sadly enjoyed Percy Jackson) so hopefully it will work for next week.
Corey wrote: "I just got the Last Hero on audiobook (sadly this weeks word made me want to check it out since I also sadly enjoyed Percy Jackson) so hopefully it will work for next week."Don't say sadly! I loved it even with it being a middle grade. We don't judge for guilty pleasure reading, lol!
Hope you enjoy it as much as I did :)
wow, you aren't kidding! I've been pushing it the last few days to make up for the time I was gone, but I definitely won't be able to keep the same pace next week. At least we've been consistent so far!
Corey wrote: "I don't know what team astronomers do for a living but they seem to have plenty of time to read."Maybe they are all retired(I'm not, but I only work 30 hrs/week). I pushed it by giving myself a mini-readathon this week to finish 12 books and all my other team members read more than they usually do in a week and we still only managed 38 books.
Yeah I never read this much, I've been annoying a lot of people because I refuse to do much but listen to or read a book during my free time. My coworkers are asking if there's something wrong with me because I'm always wearing my headphones listening to a book whenever I have down time, lol.
I am seeing somethings I'd like to add to the spreadsheet, though... that "alternate letter" column that Team Hurricanes has would be really useful.
Yeah I didn't consider that, I wish I could read 12 books in a week. I think I should take next week off for vacation lol (I'm still in my probationary period at my job so that's wishful thinking).
I like the way team butterfly has theirs but haven't updated the spreadsheet to do something like it
I went to the library to get shorter books for this week. I don't care for that usually because that means I'm reading something that's not usually on my TBR list and therefore doesn't help me knock it down. But, you do what you have to in a challenge like this ;).
I don't know... I find their's a bit confusing. It took me a few minutes to figure out what was going on there. I forget which team it is, but there was one that was super-mega-color-coordinated. It was impressive.
Found it: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/... It's Team Torchwood. Again, it took me a while to figure it out, but the colors are impressive :)
