I bought it long ago so I already had it. I finished up this morning. It is crazy how much I had forgotten. I am glad we are doing this.

Finished “One For The Money” fun read! Satisfying end😊

book 2 and 3 came in! Yay I will be a happy listener for a few days

Just finished One For the Money and loved it! I seriously laughed out loud with in the first couple chapters. I can’t wait to read the next!

I just finished book 4. This was a great idea redoing the series. Sometimes you just need a light funny book.

I agree! That’s what started me back to reading again is just to escape and not think to hard.

I did not know it was a movie. But I think because of how big the series is, it most definitely needs to be a TV series

Thanks Brandy for getting me back on track! I had a mind lapse this afternoon and forgot the Plum series was in buddy read thread. Finished number two and starting three ( it was ready to borrow on overdrive). I love reading this series.

I just started book 6. I had to move it up on the list before the library demands it back. But that isn't too much a problem. I love this series. I always know I will get a good chuckle and it helps me shut down.

I just finished book 7. So this is so weird to me, I don't remember anything about this book. I know I read it before, but it was like the first time. Maybe I missed it before, who knows.
I also like that the books come fairly fast since they have been out for so long. not huge waits at the library.

Lucky! The first book just came in for me over the weekend.

I own book one so I put 2 and 3 on hold while I listened to the first one. but I think that I have only had to wait on one person each book and there have been a few that there wasn't a wait so I am getting them pretty fast.
Though I wish I would have kept a tally for each car she destroys.

ooh good question. I think I'd count it because Stephanie was the target and she was probably in the car with Lula..

I can start the tally in book 1 and Jessica can tell us about books 2-4 and that may get us closer to where you are Brandy!

Haha yes! I've thought about that some more... I think Reese Witherspoon would do a great job putting this TV show together. She did a great job with Big Little Lies and she's working on Truly Madly Guilty now. I think we could turn it into a show. But maybe not HBO?

Ok book 8 car tally (view spoiler)[ 3 cars going up in flames, but one I don't really think was totally her fault. Ranger called the guy out, so he lit his truck on fire. But he did it to protect her so I am counting it. (hide spoiler)] I did it as a spoiler in case there are people reading for the first time.
But Ranger is showing more personality in this one. Making comments like, I will write it off as entertainment or telling her her life could be a sitcom. Also you start seeing how far he will go to keep her safe.

I forgot how "gangster" he used to talk in the beginning!

Ok My 8.5 book came in Visions of Sugar plums and Nine followed, so I will be doing back to back. so far no destruction on vehicles, but there is still time.
And it is Diesel so no "gangster" Ranger so far.

I love that she started calling the guys that work for Ranger his Merry Men.

So you know how Stephanie is always eating TastyKakes? Well we don't have them in UT, but I was on the east coast for the weekend and I loaded up on some so I can try them out while reading the next book!

Ok update. I tried both a vanilla cake that had coconut on it, really good. and the little chocolate cupcakes similar to a ho ho or ding dong, or something like that. I liked them the BF liked them better than little Debbie.

On another note my book 10 and 11 came in so I need to get going on those before the library goes repo on me.

Your library is pumping the books out. Two for the Dough just came in for me. Everybody must be having the same idea as us to re-read them all.

I had to wait a couple weeks on book 10 so once it came in I threw 11 on hold and it came back right away. Tell your library to step it up! they are way behind. get book 3 on hold ASAP
