Nov/Dec thoughts on our reading

Hey DebGlad to hear that you giving it a try dispite its newness (as a genre) and oddness. I stongly believe that as readers - and as stitchers too for that matter - we are very prone to getting ourselves into little ruts. Not in a bad way necessarily, but we find that genre that we love and dont ever stray from it, potentially missing out on some really great things.
Neil Gaiman particularly is very much an aquired taste I think - I love him, but I am definatly (more than) a little odd myself lol. As for the Park Bench - I personally enjoyed it, I found it very unique and well done. But equally, if you dont want to buy it, dont - its an expensive and busy time of year for everyone, and we all understand that. Its why we thought to do graphic novels for Nov and Dec - they're relativly quick to read and easy to opt out of (for those that choose to) and give as all a much needed break before diving back in to meater reads in January 😀

I didn't like the first part of Preludes at all. I had to stop reading. :/
I haven't found a copy of Park Bench either. It was on overdrive, but my Kindle is acting up so that option flew out the window. :(
Hopefully I kind find it!

What about you guys? Anyone else have any thoughts?
Also - so far, I have not been able to get a copy of "Park Bench" - looks like I might have to purchase it to read it. Is anyone else reading this first and what are your thoughts?
Thanks!
Deb
