C.J. Shane (cjshane) Do you plan to try to post a review of Craig Johnson's latest? I'm curious to know how you think he's doing. 4Plus means almost 5 stars?

There used to be a Firefox add-on that took care of that problem. It's no longer compatible with Firefox. So I have that problem again after many years of using that add-on.

Firefox has an add-on that allows you to retrieve a post that you've already posted. That isn't a problem that needed to be solved. I could do that without an add-on. I want that add-on that allowed me to retrieve a post that was only partway written and got lost, so I don't have to re-type it. It was called Lazarus, but it no longer works.

BarryP (barrypz) | 3513 comments I do the book post in Google Docs and then paste it. I log each book as read since I would likely otherwise forget about it.

I'll post my comments on The Western Star; and, yes, a "plus" is a half jump and a "minus" is a half drop of the basic numeric grade because I either like or dislike a specific factor but not enough to change the basic rating.

I really enjoyed this one, Sandi, and I ordered 3 books of another series by this author.

Dan in AZ | 2970 comments Review of The Western Star, Craig Johnson. Walt Longmire rides The Western Star train with all the Wyoming Sheriffs in 1972 shortly after he became a deputy. When one sheriff is killed and another goes missing, Walt investigates along with his boss. At the same time he visits an insane asylum to see the brother of another sheriff who is imprisoned for serial murders of 6 girls. Walt eventually finds the killer of the sheriff who is also responsible for other crimes. Jump to present time, and that person is being released from prison because they are dying. Turns out there is yet another twist that leads back to an old case, then forces Walt to go on a new quest. (Didn't want any spoilers, so this review might seem a little spotty).
