It's bloggers in the zombie apocalypse... and Mira Grant is the horror pseudonym of Seanan McGuire (InCryptid / October Daye / Wayward Children)...

But now look at what you started, you #firestarter, you!

We missed you.

Hi Aristea...we haven't talked much before...so first just hi...
See...I already knelt to this here @Veronica as my liege lady...swore an oath on her tracker even...
And allegiance once given...
But I shall be @Virginie's cupbearer and ply her with the juice of the grape while she works magic with those clever, clever fingers...
Or perhaps we can jezzt promote Ron to Empress...Imperatrice Rex...and crown Virginie as well...
What say?

I blame my education on Stephen Moyer. He mentioned fluffers during an interview for True Blood. In my innocence I had to google it too. True Story.

We went on a cruise- my first- to Jamaica, Grand Cayman Islands, and Cozumel. It was very relaxing and fun but, my god, sooooo much food. I've been hitting the gym hard since getting back. I may have broken myself on the treadmill yesterday.

I simply LOVED everything about this book: the characters, the art, the setting, the plot. In my opinion, it is an amazing way to get kids interested in art!

Every-time I go on vacation and people ask me what I did, I answer the same thing: I ate. Everything.

message 2678: by Solseit (new)

Solseit | 1516 comments You guys make me feel like I should finally use my vacation entitlement.
Also, what I like to do every now and again, is leave the significant other behind, go see my parents and be a spoiled child (I am 36...) for a week. Sleep, (great) food and entertainment (movies, tv shows, books, gaming on the list).

I just take a long weekends once a month... best bang for buck on vacation days... I used too much last year and was running low, so this year sometimes it's a 3 day weekend, sometimes it's a 4 day weekend... next year I'll earn more vacation days and can just do 4 every month... I do this January thru October... there's a Blackout period in November/December for the busy holidays...

Yea... and people barely have to compensate for my absence, unlike people who take a 9-11 day vacation on 5 vacation days, by stacking their regular days off the week before an after, as well...

But it does lead to a feeling that I'm always going on vacation, among my coworkers... or, as I call it, staycation...
