Hi guys, I haven't commented here yet, but I'm on the team too!I sort of took a break from Goodreads for a month or two, but I recently completed my first BR for 2018, and updated the spreadsheet with my meagre points.

Hi Melissa, welcome back :)I too took a break from GR last year due to.. huh... life?
Congrats on your first 2018 Buddy Read!
@Petrik: Oh, that's good to know! Golden Son is all the way up my TBR :D
I feel I read the love child of Ender's Game & Hunger Games (except Hunger Games is "blerhg" IMO)
I was trying to add my read to the excel file but I cannot see the file as shared with me. Am I missing something? I was hoping to get some work off of Niki and Rob!
Book #2 incoming as well!!Title: Tempests and Slaughter

Aristea wrote: "I was trying to add my read to the excel file but I cannot see the file as shared with me. Am I missing something? I was hoping to get some work off of Niki and Rob!"I updated the spreadsheet for you for the time being. I didn't have any problem.
The sharing settings are set so you should be able to access it so long you have the link:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/...
But I'm not an expert. If you PM me a gmail adress, maybe I can try and send you an invite?
Thank you Virginie! That’s very thoughtful! I guess part of the problem is that I am working on the iPad. I will try to open it on a computer, it might make a difference!

Done with Hobb's second trilogy!! Much better than Farseer imo. Can't wait to start Tawny Man after one or two book break! :D
Petrik wrote: "Hunger Games is utter blergh for me xD Okay the first one was good but the second and third was just urgh "Agreed, the first one was interesting but the rest... And that love triangle! Pure urgh!
Congrats on finishing the Liveship trilogy. I'm glad you liked it :)
(But... wow, you read fast :p)

Your reading pace (and I knew it before the challenge) amazes me. It is impressive!
I will start this trilogy sooner rather than later and I cannot wait, considering how you are praising it!

Wow you knocked those out fast! Good job!
@Virgine, Aristea, Diana: Thank you!! Haha, This is how I am mostly towards books that I loved. I really don't understand the concept of savoring books xD If I love a book, I will end up reading it really fast because I keep on stealing some time to read, even during working hours

Woohoo!
I'm still like 10% into my reread lol. I'm hoping next week I'll have more time to slosh through a greater part of it.
A bit more points, not even close to what Miche brought to the team, yet a contribution!Title: Chimes at Midnight

Good job! And you're a fast reader too! It's your third "contribution" in less than a week :)
EDIT: Did you solve your problem with the scoresheet btw?

I have to confess I did not look into it just yet. I will try to do so tonight after work. Hopefully it works!
I am a fake fast reader - it really depends on the weeks, my mood and work. I love that we are in a challenge that pushes me a lot more than I would do for myself; so half of the result is due to my innate spirit of competition. :O
Sorry I've been so absent lately guys, my reading speed has been completely tanked lately because I've just gotten so crazy busy =[.

Very YA but I devoured it. Loved the formatting.
Aristea wrote: "I have to confess I did not look into it just yet. I will try to do so tonight after work. Hopefully it works! "There's no rush ;) As I said on the Random chatter thread, I'm just one of those persons that has to know WHY something doesn't work.
This challenge is making me reading more than ever too. I'm usually not very competitive but... Filling out the spreadsheet and ticking boxes on my challenge threads? Love it. 😅

Baby points for an evening's read. Touching but very cheesy and YA. Oh well!
@Liam: don't apologize for your reading pace. I just hope that if you're busy, it's because life is giving you tons of fun and happiness! 😊
