About Alcatraz saga, is it for children? have someome readed those books?

Hey are middle school aged books but I read them anyway. There are very likable characters with quickly moving plots and it's poking fun of the genre. Very fun reads!
They are geared toward middle grade age, but they are fun, humorous, and intense at times. Brandon is poking fun at writers and cliches of authorship throughout the book as well. I have read three of them so far and they are really fun. As long as you know that they are completely different from his other works, I think you will like them.
