I've never done one of these before so excuse the basic questions. Do I just post or email the person the book I'd like them to read? How does that work? When we check in weekly where do we do that? I'm really excited to try this!

(a couple of posts up) On the reply box, there is a click to post the book link or the book cover link if you want to do it like the one I did. (Just above this post) Then after you have read your book, post here in the discussion thread so we will know if you liked it or not.
Let me know if this explanation makes no sense and I'll try again or if you have more questions. This is one of my favorite games to play here on "Hooked on Books."

Hi, Carrie! I'm giving you two choices because one of them is a dense read and I don't know what your reading time is like for the month. (I hope, mods, that this is okay— I just know how long it takes me to read dense books sometimes.) So, if you'd like a little longer read, I pick 11/22/63
But! Stephen King is dense, so if you'd like something a little lighter I pick The Raven Boys

Hi Shay, for you I pick The Graveyard Book, I don't know if you do audio books but if you do listening to this book was fantastic. Neil Gaiman does a wonderful job narrating his own works. On top of that the story is really good.
