Thanks for starting this discussion. I get so bummed when I read others who are still totally for Aric who I really don't trust. While he boasts that he never lies to Evie, I’m sure he does keep secrets. Unless Evie asks specific questions, she'll not know what he hides. (view spoiler)[ If you read Arcana Rising, you knew that Jack (the Hunter) while still shackled before Matthew rescued him, recalls events that took place right after Selena pushed him into the mine shaft. He'd been chased by lava then by the flood which carried him through the mountain and out the other side for miles. Circe was that flood so had to know Jack lived. Being in a separate alliance with Aric, Circe would have informed him that Jack survived and would not want Evie to know. (hide spoiler)].
Jack is who Evie first fell in love with and he is smokin' hot....love that he and Evie can speak Cajun with each other. I'm all in for Jack for sure!!!
