Morning everyone! :-) Just the 17 nominations for Val's 'One Word Song Titles' theme, hopefully numbers will rise as people make their way over here from Amazon, gives us 5 votes each. As yet their is no playlist however somebody said the links are 'live' but I have no idea what that means. Voting is open to everybody, the more the merrier, and closes on Sunday 10pm. I know some of us feel a bit glum but at least we have the opportunity now to make this forum our own without silly interferences and dumb ass trolls! :-)

Put your finger on where you want to select until it turns blue behind, then drag the pin to the end. Tap on copy.

To paste, tap and hold for a second or two; let go. It should say paste. Tap on that. I do find the copying isn't always as smooth as you'd like, but that might be the age of my device.

It varies and I don’t know why. Sometimes there’ll be 2 blue blobs, one at the start, one at the end of one or more words and you have to try to manoeuvre them to encompass the whole list. Other times you’ll get a ‘Select all’ choice which includes everything in that section, much easier.

Right voting now closed. Our very first Goodreads nom/vote theme has ended up in a three way tie...or has it?? In first place with 21 votes by way of having higher top scores, (5,4,4,3,2,1,1,1) is Teenage Fan Club's 'Verisimilitude' nominated by Johnny, in second place is Little Feat's 'Willin' nominated by Brass, (5,4,3,3,3,2,1). Unfortunately Morphine's 'Thursday' nominated by Sera69 was wrongly allocated 4 votes by Jemma and therefore drop down to 17 votes. This means that Lonnie Mack's 'Why' with 18 votes is third place winner for K.J.S.

Well done to the 3 winners especially Johnny, and tough luck Sera with a disapproving head shake in Jemma's direction. ;-)

Edit - I've tried unsuccessfully 3 imes now to open the next nominations thread for Brass's 'Songs with long titles (entirely arbitrary minimum of 7 words; words in brackets are OK but not references to featured artists or mixes) '.
