Haley (view spoiler)[that was a creepy first chapter. I'm guessing that the egg timer is possibly symbolic to her leaving the play practice early? Also that her vocal chords were slashed as well makes me wonder if the killer is someone associated with the play. Possibly Jonathan? (hide spoiler)]

Makani (view spoiler)[yikes that was an intense scene. Sad that her Grandma got hurt, but at least she is still alive. Her mother sounded awful on that phone call, treating her daughter like she purposely got herself attacked for attention or whatever reason. I am glad that she has her Grandmother and friends for support. I am curious to see why she thinks she was attacked and what her reasons for moving were. (hide spoiler)]

Killer (view spoiler)[hmm... I can't help but wonder if David is maybe a copycat and not the killer that went after the other 3. Like maybe there was a reason he went after Makani and wanted to make it look like it was the real killer. He just seemed sloppy while the other killer seemed methodical. Just a theory at the moment. That stinks, Vicki! I hate when that happens! I've started it but haven't gotten far because I'm fighting a cold and when I get home from school all I want to do is sleep. :(

Yeah, and it cost $10.99 and I'm not about to pay that unless a book appears amazing, which this one doesn't.

I liked it okay, but yes not scary at all.
