Katie | 2369 comments 1. I'm getting much more invested in the book. I may be staying up tonight to finish.
2. I think Sam is the villain.
3. Not sure. That was a bit of a shocker.
4. My first thought was that Sam killed them, but I don't even know if that timeline makes any sense.

I can't think of any questions. I just want to know what happens, haha.

1. Are you liking the book so far?

I am not sure how I feel about it at this point. I really like learning about what happened at Pine Cottage in little bits, but I am so confused about what's happening in the present. I cannot give a clear answer until I finish.

2. Do you have a prediction for the villain yet?

I still think Jeff has something to do with this, but I have no idea. Sam is the obvious villain, but is Sam only trying to make Quincy see that she herself is a villain? I don't trust any of the characters.

3. Why do you think Lisa was looking into Quincy?

I don't know why Lisa would look into Quincy. I am wondering if she is starting to suspect that Quincy wasn't innocent in what happened at Pine Cottage.

4. What are the connection between the news clippings and the main story?

I'm assuming Quincy is hiding something, but that's all I can really speculate.

Why is Sam involving herself with Quincy? Is she working with the police?

Michelle (mich2689) | 476 comments 1. Are you liking the book so far?
Yes it’s quite a page turner.

2. Do you have a prediction for the villain yet?
I think Sam is either the villain or she’s involved in some other way. I don’t trust her.

3. Why do you think Lisa was looking into Quincy?
I wonder if Lisa thought Quincy might also be guilty because Quincy couldn’t remember anything.

4. What are the connection between the news clippings and the main story?
I’m not sure but they seem to be connected, especially because they happened in the same location.

5. Sam is either evil and is trying to sabotage Quincy. Or Quincy isn’t as innocent as she thinks she is so Sam is trying to gather evidence, perhaps not for the police, but at least for herself. That’s what I think.

My question: What do you think of Jeff? What do you think is his role in the story?
