Jennifer Ann (authorjenniferann) | 36 comments I tried searching the discussions but didn't find exactly what I'm looking for. I'm getting ready to change the title and covers of two books I've already published. What's the proper way to do this? Start a new book, request they be merged, and set the newest cover/title as the latest edition?

Philip (burnnerman) | 5913 comments You would want to create an ACE, and then as an author you can set the default edition.

Here is how to set your Default Edition:

Paula (paulaan) | 7027 comments You should add a new edition with new title and cover, these are then combined with the old versions. Once this done you can set the default edition.

Or you can post the info in this group and a librarian will sort it out.

Dobby (dobby0390) | 3650 comments Helpful hint: You can bypass the "combine" step by using the "Add a new edition" option on the book record page. That option is below the "Other Editions" section below the description:
All Editions | Add a New Edition | Combine

Using this option creates the new edition and combines it with the existing ones, all in one step.
