Lance (lancegilbert) | 5 comments Hello folks,

Do you feel that one’s decision to practice grey or dark magic(k) could be prompted by astral forces seeking a portal into the 3rd dimension…a Trojan Horse, if you will?

Cheers

I personally have no idea. But it seems like an interesting topic to be had.

I think the ancient grimoires were actually written by astral beings (via influence/possession) using magicians to open the front door into 3D...

Linda Maddocks (boodiba) | 5 comments That's an interesting idea! I remember reading something a NYC psychic / medium wrote about the disincarnate acting as sort of psychic vampires. They'd attach themselves to (for example) intoxicated people in nightclubs, in order to experience the physical sensations of inebriation again. At the time I was much younger & was prone to dancing (and drinking) until 3am in nightclubs. I was like, "I wonder if I have one." lol

Ah! That's pretty familiar! I've heard of psychic vampirism. I never got into it at the time though. Now seems cool.

I've done some banishing rituals in the past! Dabbled in some hermetics stuff.

Astral parasites are definitely attracted to night clubs, casinos and strip bars. Basically anywhere there is a mixture of vice and mind-altering substances...

That's quite interesting. I don't usually go out to bars and whatnot, so that's prob why I haven't really delved into that part of spirituality.

This is quite the topic!

Linda Maddocks (boodiba) | 5 comments Ya I happened to find this author via some online article. I wasn't investigating this kind of thing. Saw the article and was impressed enough to look into the cost of readings with her. It was over $200, and at the time I was earning hardly anything, so obviously I didn't go for it, but I checked out other things she'd written. Wish I could remember her name but it was like 20 years ago!

Lance (lancegilbert) | 5 comments Quite often mediums are under the influence, so to speak. It's such a subtle thing. We are conditioned to think that so-called possession is all pea soup and spinning heads but those are rare misfires. Those are really bad drivers that crash into trees. True spiritual influence, whether 'good' or 'bad' is far more prevalent...

Linda Maddocks (boodiba) | 5 comments Makes sense. I should be doing my banishing ritual more often, lol.
