Here is a good article about Collins and TWIW on the occasion of its 150th anniversary in 2009. There are a few minor spoilers at the end of the article, so you might want to avoid the last paragraph!

Here's another, also with a few spoilers!

I'm trying to find something without spoilers, but no luck so far.

The group, as far as I can re-construct, read it once before, exactly 8 years ago, 1 Oct 2009 through 1 Nov 2009.
Thanks for sharing the articles, Cindy. They were quite informative. I have already read three-fourth of the book so did not mind the spoilers. :)

I love Collins' books- mostly for their strong women characters and of course their exciting plots. Have my hands a little full with work these few weeks so haven't been able to join in.
