Deborah | 7 comments My Author profile and dashboard have 3 books that I wrote (OK).

The cover of "Film Production Management 101" is for the first edition, not the second edition one that people can buy in the bookstore (would like updated).

When I search Goodreads for "Film Production Management 101" I get 3 Goodreads pages in response:
1. (no cover):
2. (1st edition cover):
3. (2nd edition cover):

Can you fix this problem?

A couple were on a profile that had your name without a middle initial. I fixed that and they moved to your profile. I also combined them so now they share reviews.

You have the ability to determine which one is the default. read here for how-to: that will make the one that shows up in title searches and on your page be the one you want. (If you don't force a default it uses the most popular edition)

I'm confused about what your goal is in your second paragraph. We don't change covers on published books. We are a cataloging website and users want to shelf their exact edition. If you are saying there is a cover that is wrong and it was never the way we have it on here. Then please reiterate that and link the exact book and the exact cover that it should of always had. If we can help you we will or you may be referred to GR staff at Oops, I get it now. You are saying the book you linked as #1 needs a cover and it should be the same cover as #2. We don't copy covers from one edition to another.... Maybe someone else will jump in about how we can get that cover.

Deborah | 7 comments Thanks. I see you combined all 3 "PM101" pages into one. I have a JPG of the latest cover. The cover currently showing is for the 2002 edition. How can the cover be updated? Here's a link to the new cover JPG:

Goodreads is a cataloging website. We don't change covers. Users want to shelf the exact book they read/own. We can add a cover for the one that's missing a cover. We can fix a cover that is wrong or if you have a book reissued with a new cover we can add an ACE (Alternative Cover Edition). I don't have a clear understanding of how I/we can help.

See and to learn more about how Goodreads handles cover changes. - all the editions currently on GRs

click on the book and copy and paste the url or provide an isbn of the book you need help with and what exactly you are asking. I'm not clear. I think you want us to replace the cover on that first edition but if you read above you'll understand why we can't.

Deborah | 7 comments This page:
Is showing the First Edition book cover. This page is the only one that shows up now in Goodreads searches for the book and is on my author page.

However, this page needs this book cover (the 2nd edition book cover):

Hi. Look a message 3, 1st paragraph. That should help you with the first part of what you ask.

Added the cover for this one:

1st edition needs to stay as it was when it was released.

Deborah | 7 comments Thanks. The second edition doesn't show up on my Author profile (or in Goodreads searches when you search for the title). How can that be corrected, pls?
Thx for your patience,

the default edition that shows in searches and on your profile.
only you can make that change (the instructions are linked in Corinnes post)
Per default the cover that shows up is the one with most shelvings - but as GR author you can change that like Corinne linked.
