Anyone reading this one?
I just started. So far I don't know whether I like it or not. I'm so tired that after half a page I fall asleep. o_o

I'm afraid this has completely thrown me into fangirling mode ... and I don't even like fae stories.
So I guess you like this book way better than the first one?!
I'm a bit sceptic so far because i know there's a love triangle coming up and i hate those so so much!

I really do like this one .. the world-building is so much better than the first book and I very much enjoyed where the story was going this time. I don't think I'd even put it in the love-triangle category .. (view spoiler) .
The one thing that bothers me about this series (and also Maas' other one) ist that it's somewhere along the borderline of YA fantasy (which it is not imo .. it's New Adult if anything, not teen .. I think that's a term, right?) and paranormal romance (of the kind that has a lot of story and just a few awfully written sex scenes). I think it would be better if the author left out those type of scenes as she doesn't seem to have a whole lot of talent writing them. The fantasy/YA-level romance is much more her thing imo and for me the books would just read better without them.
The ending was pretty much what I feared would happen, but it's ok. I'll just read on ...
I'm glad you liked it. I started reading it again last night and i got hooked. I'm at 19% so i will read your spoilers later.

@savanes - definitely not a love triangle in my book (I hate those, too..)
A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas is the second book in the A Court of Thorns and Roses series and the winner of the YA fantasy award. There are supposed to be 6 books in the series but only 3 have been released so far.
Feyre survived Amarantha's clutches to return to the Spring Court—but at a steep cost. Though she now has the powers of the High Fae, her heart remains human, and it can't forget the terrible deeds she performed to save Tamlin's people.
Nor has Feyre forgotten her bargain with Rhysand, High Lord of the feared Night Court. As Feyre navigates its dark web of politics, passion, and dazzling power, a greater evil looms—and she might be key to stopping it. But only if she can harness her harrowing gifts, heal her fractured soul, and decide how she wishes to shape her future—and the future of a world cleaved in two.
With more than a million copies sold of her beloved Throne of Glass series, Sarah J. Maas's masterful storytelling brings this second book in her seductive and action-packed series to new heights.
