160 pages long!
Brit classic by a great writer!

Who's in?
Who's already a Graham Greene fan?
Who's never heard of him?

Mary Lou Just got this from the library. I've never read Greene. Looking forward to it.

Loved The Quiet American and Our Man in Havana. I have several other books to read, so I'll join later in the month.

Nina | 449 comments I'm in for it as well. It's me first Greene. The guy at my favourite second hand book store told me this is Greene's best book, so much looking forward to it!

Phil Jensen | 73 comments "A story has no beginning or end: arbitrarily one chooses that moment of experience from which to look back or from which to look ahead."

A first sentence that Dickens would be proud of, and a feeling familiar to anyone who has tried to tell a story.

I am finding the story to be slow going. Since I have enjoyed Greene's other novels, I will plod on.

I have finished the book and I was not impressed. Graham Greene has written some fantastic books, but this is not one of them.
