Phrodrick If we start a new discussion here. I am not quite to the end of chapt 7 and do not feel that I am getting much of the action in the house during the storm.

Phrodrick As the weather clears the plot thickens.
The arrival of the ship wrecked captain and the not quite completed recommendation that young Mordaunt go to sea.

Not so stated, but obvious to the reader is that Capt Cleveland is not all he may want Mordaunt to believe and that there is going to be some maneuvering over gets the love of which lady-Minna and Brenda.Time to go Troiling?

Oh my... chapter five starts out with, "We can only hope that the gentle reader has not found the latter part of the last chapter extremely tedious..."

I sure hope that's not ominous, lol.

I keep wondering when the Pirate was going to make an appearance. It seems like we've learned a lot about many folks prior to this, I'm interested to see how all of these characters stories will be woven together.
