Natchez Burning ( A Penn Cage Novel)
by Greg Isles

A good, long read. I was surprised by Penn's personality in this book. Very violent scenes.

Takedown Twenty (A Stephanie Plum Novel)
by Janet Evanovich
Typical, but enjoyable light read, perfect for summer days

Carol/Bonadie (bonadie) | 9538 comments Plum must have been a good counterpoint to NB. I know I needed a nice light read after it.

Ann (annrumsey) | 17047 comments I agree with Carol, Lorraine - a Plum book would be a good palate cleanser.
I am glad you read Natchez Burning with the group. Penn's actions were quite a shock to me too: definitely not what I expected. I guess we'll have to read the next one (the Bone Tree) to see if he redeems himself.
