She thinks all is perfect until she is woken up in the middle of the night by something banging on her bedroom wall... The neighbor is banging the brains out of some girl that apparently loves to be spanked... First of all how freaking inconsiderate. Even if the walls were thick all that banging in the wee hours of the morning, jeez, I know you want the sex but Gah!
So Caroline lives through this for a bit but finally she has to tell her girlfriends about it, they laugh and make fun. Come to find out he is actually friends with her boss and they attend the same party!!! Hilarious! (hide spoiler)]

In enters James Brown the ex who thinks Caroline will grow out of her decorator phase. You can tell that Simon is jealous. A duh. Also who eats bread like that! (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 6 (view spoiler)[ Okay, Caroline, A hot chic who as 2 best friends, moved to an apartment. No the fun part is the guy who lives next door is a complete Sex Machine as n when he is in the town. The very first night she gets to witness (by hearing not seeing though) his master job in bed. Except it is not in the bed ... but against a wall. Her Bedroom Wall. Bloody Hell .... That was a total hilarious part when the next night he brings another girl who MEOWs .... totally weird ... who does that while making love.


Poor Caroline not able to sleep. And hell she talk to her O. Very funny. Now that she is crushing over Simon the Wallbanger, they meet at her Boss's Party. Super good to know by the time she reaches her apartment that he knows that she gets dirty dreams about him. Too embarrassing. So much for the drama against the man huh :P (hide spoiler)]

Read a couple of chapters earlier and will try to read it in one sitting tomorrow. First impressions are okay, it's definitely a funny book and I enjoy the main character. Not too sure how sexually appealing meowing is!

That's always the frustrating thing with reading books towards the end of the month! I do hope you like this one, I found it hilarious and it was a very quick read. I'm at university myself but I do have a part time job at the library that I'm returning to soon, and I can't wait :)

Ch. 1 - 6: (view spoiler)[ It's pretty entertaining so far. I've laughed out loud several times. Clayton's a funny writer!
What is up with the meowing? I thought it was funny that Caroline was trying to figure out Purina's nationality. "Ah. She was Russian."

She certainly built up the anticipation. I was pretty impatient for the moment when Caroline and Simon finally meet.

I like how Caroline treats Clive like a human. They have a cute relationship.

Her masturbatory fantasies made me laugh. Her comment about Michael Hutchence - how his voice always got her close? Funny. And she has such descriptive and well thought out fantasies.

Jillian's housewarming party: I had a feeling Caroline & Simon would bump into each other there.

Didn't you think that kiss was too sudden? At the same time, I wasn't that surprised.

What I don't like is that everyone is conveniently paired off with their ideal type. Mimi w/ Neil and Sophia w/ Ryan. Although I have a feeling that Sophia & Neil may end up together. Gosh, why can't stuff like that happen (to me) in real life?!

It was nice how they started cooking dinner together. Very natural and easy. He helped drain the pasta; he's thoughtful. He doesn't expect to be served.

There's so much blatant flirting while she's making the apple pie. The part about "fingerlatio" made me laugh. If this isn't foreplay, I don't know what is. (hide spoiler)]

But they were just fuck buddies. They all knew about each other and knew the situation - that it was nothing serious or long-term. There was no commitment and expectations for more.

His asking Caroline to go to Spain with him was a bit much for me. It was too perfect. It just made me envious and not like my own life lol. (hide spoiler)]

I liked how the story ends from Cliver's POV. The last line left me chuckling.

All in all, an entertaining book. It was a very pleasant surprise. I thought it was going to be really trashy (based on the title), but it wasn't trashy at all, in my opinion. I'd like to read more books by Clayton. (hide spoiler)]
