Looking for a series of children's books that we used to get from the
library. My memories are very sparse, so I don't have too much to go one,
but maybe this will spark someone here. One of my earlier memories is
running into the children's section heading straight for the "Beast Books."
I know that we regularly called them that, but I'm not sure that was ever
an official title. My mom confirms my memory that these were large hardback
books with paper pages. I seem to remember the titular beast as appearing
on the covers, being large and furry green. My sister seems to remember
blue, either is equally possible. I can't remember any of the stories,
except that I think they dealt with typical kids stuff... maybe in one the
beast is hurt and has to go to a doctor, learning not to be afraid?
We were reading these probably 25 years ago, so they're not recent.
