Jennifer (jennifertudor) | 299 comments I would really love to have read 50 books this year but I only really started reading again in April after 2 years (!) away from it. I was planning my wedding in that time so everything I read was wedding-related :)

And then, of course, I didn't join GR's until July so I didn't even know I was trying to read 50. LOL. Anyway, now I guess I'll just track it and see where it goes and how far I make it. Then I'll be reading for a bigger goal in 2010.

Here's my read list so far in no particular order

1. Rhett Butler's People Donald McCaig
2. The Book of Negroes Lawrence Hill
3. Outlander Diana Gabaldon
4. Dragonfly in Amber Diana Gabaldon
5. Twilight Stephenie Meyer
6. New Moon Stephenie Meyer
7. EclipseStephenie Meyer
8. Breaking Dawn Stephenie Meyer
9. My Sister's Keeper Jodi Picoult
10. The Pact A Love Story Jodi Picoult
11. The Notebook Nicholas Sparks
12. The Starter Wife Gigi Levangie Grazer
13. A Summer Affair A Novel Elin Hilderbrand
14. The Other Queen A Novel Philippa Gregory
15. Children of England Alison Weir
16. Things I Want My Daughters to Know Elizabeth Noble
17. The Time Traveler's Wife Audrey Niffenegger

And currently reading:

18. Edward VI The Lost King of England Chris Skidmore
19. The Prince and the Pauper Mark Twain
20. Voyager Diana Gabaldon

The Wars of the Roses Alison Weir
The Princes in the Tower
The Reader Bernhard Schlink

Allison (The Allure of Books) (inconceivably) | 304 comments I've started Middlemarch, but I don't think I should have because I don't really have time for it right now, haha. I've only read the first few chapters but its very good so far!

Jennifer (jennifertudor) | 299 comments Yeah, one of the groups are doing it as a group read... is that what you're reading it for? I forget which group?

It looks a bit intimidating size-wise. Usually I love really big books but when it's one like that, it takes up so much time! Small print, lots of pages and you really have to pay attention!

Allison (The Allure of Books) (inconceivably) | 304 comments nah, I just think it looks good and I'm trying to shorten the stack of classic TBRs I have lying around.
