Jennifer (jennifertudor) | 350 comments How was A Painted House? I've got that on my list for the challenge too :)

message 11: by Felina (new)

Felina | 612 comments Its a good story written well. I'm typically more of a fan of his law thrillers so I was a bit disappointed. Have you read much of his work?

message 12: by Jennifer (new)

Jennifer (jennifertudor) | 350 comments No, not much but a few. I think I've read The Pelican Brief, The Firm and The Client. Probably a few more but I can't really remember... it's been a long time. I really liked his books though.

message 13: by Felina (new)

Felina | 612 comments Then you'll probably enjoy the read but I doubt it will enter your favorites list. Its worth the time though.

Rachel (Snoopi) Just got The First Man in Rome... I don't know when I'll get to it, but hopefully soon. I really like this type of novel. I know I'll want to read all in the series. Oh, yea, couldn't be too thick, huh??!!

message 28: by Felina (new)

Felina | 612 comments I got half way through it last summer. It was very good. I'm planning to finish it this summer. Its best when read on a patio with lemonade while the summer evening winds blow through your hair. Just sayin'.
