Okay it's that time again. I am taking nominations for October. Nominations run through Saturday or until I get 12, whichever comes first.

*You nominate - You lead discussion (unless you let me know who you are passing it off to)

* One nomination per person

* Book title AND author's name

* No blurbs

* No seconding a nomination (that's what voting is for)

Ally (goodreadscomuser_allhug) how about 'Sexing the Cherry' by Jeanette Winterson?

(...I'd also like to second 'the Bell Jar' - wonderful choice!).

Ally

Oh good. I was hoping someone would nominate a good halloween type book.

FOUR more nomination spots open.

Joy (joy85) | 94 comments If you want Halloween-ish, how about Frankestein by Mary Shelley? Or Dracula by Bram Stoker?

Sorry- that was two! Now I can't decide...

message 13: by Julie (new)

Nadia A (bagambo) What about In The Woods by Tana French? I hear that its a bit scary.

message 16: by Joy (new)

Joy (joy85) | 94 comments Alright, Dracula since I haven't read it yet.

message 17: by Jennifer W (new)

Jennifer W | 2175 comments In The Woods was really good, but it gets intense. I nominated Virgin of Small Plains because it's a mystery, but it's got a lot of other things going on too. :)
