September Judge a Book: September 1, 2017 - September 30, 2017
Completed: 4 | 6
1.
By: Geraldine Brooks.
Read: September 1, 2017
Rating: 3 stars
~ picked up for 50 cents at the library on the mere fact that Brooks wrote it and that the lady was wearing a sweet bonnet.
2.
By: Carl Hiaasen
Read: September 5, 2017
Rating: 4 trashy stars
~ I went back to the Hiaasen shelf after last month's success judging his book by the cover and this time chose a sweet sky blue specimen with a crazed monkey on the front. I also like the heft of these paperbacks.
3.
By: Sun-mi Hwang
Read: September 7, 2017
Rating: 4 stars
~ You know a cover's good when the artist is credited on the cover. A beautiful Korean fable I found on the staff picks shelf of the library. What can I say? I like birds.
4.
By: Claude Simon
Read:
Rating:
~ I don't think I need to explain why I chose this naked lady book within 5 seconds of opening the free little library bookhouse doors. (P.S. this book isn't about naked ladies.)
5.
By: Neil Gaiman
Read:
Rating:
~ The book looks better in person than on the GR pic. I hope this won't be another let down like last month's
.6.
By: Hendrik Groen
Read: September 13, 2017
Rating: 3 stars
~ The illustration on this cover is simply amazing. And I liked the title. The book itself is a 3.5. It was a little too unedited. O well.

WOOHOO Suzanne!
I loved Wild: From Lost to Found on the Pacific Crest Trail too. I even liked the movie.
If you like the Rough Riders series by Lorelei James, try the Cowboy Justice Association Series by Olivia Jaymes.
