ABOUT SEPTEMBER

September has three birth flowers: the forget-me-not, the morning glory and the aster. Forget-me-nots represent love and memories, asters represent love as well, and the morning glory represents unrequited love. These are all very passionate flowers.
September is the only month with the same number of letters in its name as the number of the month: it is the ninth month and has nine letters.
On an average September day more babies are born in the US than on a day in any other month. Holiday Sex!!
The definition of a Harvest Moon is: the full moon closest to the fall equinox. The Harvest Moon was thus named because it rises within a half-hour of when the sun sets. In early days, when farmers had no tractors, it was essential that they work by the light of the moon to bring in the harvest.
