Sam | 1857 comments Sentinal Wars covers are "wow" Gina. I liked the cover so much I went to my online library booking system to book and realized that I already had it booked as it was this months read. Doh!

I've got my copy, LOL! I'll be reading it in another couple of weeks. And you're right, Sam, the covers are terrific!

I also read her Delta Force trilogy; they were pretty good!

My son and I were standing in a bookstore and I was describing Burning Alive. My son asked if Shannon K. Butcher was related to Jim Butcher. I told him "probably not." Very perceptive 20-year old.

You know, Kathleen, your son might like her Delta Force series. Lots of action.

Sam | 1857 comments if he can get over the covers. LOL!!! Maybe she can have them realeased like the Harry Potter books that have "adult" covers and the traditional "kid" cover. In this case it would having the "chick" cover and the "manly" cover.

He pretty much lives on a diet of fantasy, manga, and graphic novels interspersed with playing video games. I think that I have convinced him to put Lisa Shearin on his must read list, but his list is longer than mine.

LOL, his list is longer than yours cause you read more, LOL! Am I right? Seriously, though, if he's a fan of action, he'll like those.

Sam | 1857 comments I read No Regrets over the weekend. It was a decent read a solid 3*. Gina did you find the series was better as it went along?

It looks like at this point I'm not going to get Burning Alive in until atleast next month as I'm still number 5 on the waiting list for it at the library.

Yes Sam, I did find the other two were better than the first.
