Favourite writing exercise

So... at the moment I'm currently finding verbs to replace with ones that sound more disgusting.

And I love it.

What's your favourite writing exercise?

I don't really have one, mostly because I'm too busy writing :)
It sounds a bit crass, but seeing how many different ways I can describe the same thing can be fun. Coming up with new and exciting similes until I find one I can live with is probably as close as I get to an exercise.
Having said that, yours sounds fun :)
