ConnieD (bookwithcat) | 25 comments I don't remember what year they were in originally, or why they were in the pond. They all came out in the same place but different years. I think one came out in the 1950s. Two women, one man. I think man was old when his girlfriend appeared and she was still young. I think he married the other woman so they must have come out closer together in time. Seemed like they lived in a cabin.
I really liked the book and I remember wanting to read more by that author, whose name I can't remember now. I think it's at least 10 years old, but I'm not really sure.

ConnieD, is this mostly a romance with time travel? Did they all travel back in time (but to different years)?

Were the three adults? all friends or coworkers when they jumped in the pond - at the same time? (The man and one of the women were a couple at the start.)

What's the location - U.S./country, region?

ConnieD (bookwithcat) | 25 comments Not a romance book.
They traveled forwards in time. So maybe they started out in the 1800s?
I think they were adult. But young.
I think set in US.
It was a hardback book.
I'll try to think of more. I just remember liking it.

ConnieD (bookwithcat) | 25 comments Still looking. But I couldn't think of any more details so I kind of forgot about it.

Do the three adults start off as strangers or close friends?

Why do they jump into the pond - or small lake?

What's the location - country, region, near a well-known city?

Note: I added "Not a romance novel" to the header (re: message 3) because this is a common assumption with time travel. Feel free to update it by clicking the small "edit" link after the header. (This only works on the full Desktop website - not the Mobile website or app.)

Could it have been a waterfall they jumped into? (This possibility came to mind when Falling for the Highlander: A Time Travel Romance by Emma Prince turned up while searching - but this book is a historical romance.)

Autumn Francia | 66 comments did this 'pond' start as a lagoon actually and they go into an underwater cave that triggers the time travel? i dont remember the times part but i read something about this i just have to remember what it was called. the pond thing was like, a place where lots of people went to swim, like a lagoon. it was a short story though
