Yash | 2 comments Hello,

I recently completed my first draft of I'd Rather Be Undead: New Blood, the first in a series (hopefully) of novellas about a world in which paranormal beings coexist with humans, and work for large, silly corporations like many of us do. I think it would fall into the Urban Fantasy Comedy genre, and there's a hefty dose of corporate satire thrown in there.

I would really appreciate some feedback. My work is inspired by Douglas Adams and Terry Pratchett, who have been inspiring me my entire life. I haven't had many beta readers yet, so I'm mostly wondering how humorous the novella is to other people and how enjoyable the story is, why or why not, and any advice people have. I would be sincerely grateful and flattered for any feedback.

Thank you so much!

Rob Witherspoon | 13 comments Yash, Send it to me. I'm a big fan of Pratchett, Adams and Wodehouse. My conspiracy theory satire (Shadow of the Blue Eagle / 50K words) is a result of imagining them growing up in Texas instead of England.
