Graffiti Moon
Read this a few years ago and really liked it. Double perspective, identity, romance, graffiti... has anyone else read it? Might suit yr 9.

Lisa Lacey | 2 comments I read "The Amber Amulet". Such a great text. Completely different from everything else we teach and lots of devices to talk about and a good springboard for narrative writing. I was thinking it could possibly replace "The Simple Gift"...

We actually used this in EAL a while back. Peta Godfrey taught it at yr 10 I think. It's a really lovely story. Is it gripping enough though? Possible we might have similar issues as we had with curious incident...

But as springboard for narrative could be wonderful. Unreliable narrator, visuals, mystery

Marie | 4 comments I read Risk which is about a cyber predator- really good on friendships and cyber safety. Could be a good one for issues springboard or even a friendship reflective piece or essay. Not sure if anyone else can read?

Maybe we could swap?

message 7: by Marie (new)

Marie | 4 comments We could except I left it at school! Should I read the freedom rides one? Do you think it's a potential winner?

Maybe. Can give it you next week or could meet up one day/night this week
