Post your thoughts on He Said/She Said by Erin Kelly here!

"In the hushed aftermath of a total eclipse, Laura witnesses a brutal attack. She and her boyfriend Kit call the police, and in that moment, it is not only the victim's life that is changed forever. Fifteen years on, Laura and Kit live in fear, and while Laura knows she was right to speak out, the events that follow have taught her that you can never see the whole picture: something, and someone, is always in the dark."

Wow, this book was a very pleasant surprise! I wasn't sure by the synopsis if I would be into this one, but I was quickly interested and stayed hooked.

Also I found it funny that the book was so centered around the eclipses - good timing, team! ;-)

I thought the way the book (view spoiler) It kept me guessing. (view spoiler)

My copy hasn't come in yet but your enthusiasm gives me hope! I'm not sure if I'll like this one or not either.

I got my copy and started yesterday. I'm intrigued so far, and I like how the story is told from different perspectives. I'm only 50 pages in though.

Valerie, I checked and you're next on the list! I'm almost done with my copy so you should be getting it soon.

This book...I don't think I would have read this book on my own. (view spoiler) I'm about 2/3 through the book. I found the beginning to be pretty slow/ not so good too, but it's definitely picked up. The more I read, the more nervous I get for the characters. I just really want know what happens at the end and for that I'll finish the book.

Lance (SportsBookGuy) | 66 comments I'm now at 14% and I wish they would get a move on with the actual story. Kit and Laura are in love...yeah, yeah, yeah...the eclipse is cool...yeah, yeah, yeah....c'mon already!

As you can see, patience is NOT my strong suit! :)

I WAS WRONG ABOUT EVERYTHING. Apparently my sense of self-preservation is not nearly as fine tuned as I thought it was because I didn't see anything coming. The last 50 or so pages of this book were insane. I feel so betrayed. What a great book.

(view spoiler)

If you can't tell, this book made me feel things, and I was literally shaking as I read the last chapters. This was definitely worth finishing.

message 13: by Lance (new)

Lance (SportsBookGuy) | 66 comments At 22% after my drive this morning - and it is getting somewhere now. Courtney has me intrigued. Been listening on my commute so now I hope to finish before I go away next Thursday.

message 14: by Valerie (new)

Valerie | 13 comments All I can say after finishing that book is - I don't know what to say. I like the aspect of the eclipse (we have one coming soon) but there is so much in the book that outweighed it. Better luck with the next one?

message 15: by Lance (new)

Lance (SportsBookGuy) | 66 comments Very late with this...but wow! My reaction was much like Courtney's on the last 50 or so pages (or in my case, the last hour and a half or so on the audio version). The ending made it all worthwhile.
