The name is Chris G. Wright. I'm an indie author, and sci-fi takes up a lot of space in my heart. I published my debut The Alliance back in 2016 while trying to find my footing as a new author.
It had been edited by a budget editor, which might have been a bad idea. I don't know. I guess the guy was in dire straits and needed help (and I myself was a bit naive as far as publishing goes), so I went all soft and gave him a chance. He didn't do a bad job, but a renowned editor would've probably done better.
I'm giving the book a polish because I want people to enjoy it. Hence, I started a crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo because I can't afford the editing costs, yet I really love to write and want to make it as an author. Crowdfunding seems to work for others, so who knows?
