Come one, come all! Step right up to the most fun you will have! For one night only, Carnivale is coming to Hogwarts! Purchase your tickets from your head boy or head girl for 2 galleons!

Dates: Monday June 26th - Sunday July 9th
Theme: Carnivale

The Solstice Promenade is taking place in the Great Hall. The outer parts contain tables containing a variety of food and beverages. There are many round tables with tablecloths of various colors (red, green, purple, green and gold) and table decor containing beads and feathers. Within the tables is a large area for students to dance. The head table where the teacher's sit is still set up but in the middle is an open area where a band is playing. Balloons cover the ceiling in a variety of colors as well. There are panels of cloth over the walls to look almost as if it was a large tent.

Lyall arrived holding his girlfriend's hand, a dopey grin already plastered across his face just because he was excited to get to spend the evening with her. The wedding had been delightful up until the groom went missing, but surely nothing of the sort would happen here and they could dance together in peace. "Where to, my love?" He drawled, glancing at her in question. As much as he loved dances, he was willing to let Kim take the lead... after all, he was more comfortable in such places, so whatever she wanted to do, he would be there with her.

Kim glided into the Dancehall with more poison confidence that was normal for her. She had been practicing and making sure the mask on her face was proper she couldn't help feeling more confidence even though it's probably incredibly obvious who she was somehow being behind the mask made her feel more daring. She seriously hope that she wasn't the only one wearing a mask when she found out about the theme from her boyfriend she wanted to go all out and she hoped that he didn't think her silly or childish for deciding to dress in such a fashion. Of course his expression when he saw her was certainly much more of approval than anything, perhaps or taste was getting better when it came to dressing up for the sorts of events. "Well…" she chuckled softly. "I'm really good for anything. What do you want to do?" She responded with a coy tone. She has never really seen her self is beautiful but dressing up like this wearing a mask off and give her a sense of confidence that she didn't have before.

Jimmy walked into the Great Hall, wearing a large smile on his face and holding a small white rose in his hand that he had brought for his date. After hours of contemplation, he had come to the conclusion that he returned Abigail's interest in him, and there was no doubt about that, since he had spent the days just prior to exams thinking about her instead of studying! One of the first people to arrive, Jimmy went to sit into a chair on one side of a round clothed table, tapping his feet against the floor rhythmically in anticipation of his date's arrival.

Abigail skipped excitedly into the Great Hall, a noticeable contrast from Kim's proper walk. Her dress was fortunately short enough for her not to trip over it. Upon noticing Kim amd her boyfriend, Lyall, from the group DADA class, she waved happily at them, not caring if it embarrassed anyone. However, as she turned toward the tables, her face really lit up. He was here… and he was going to make her night one of the most perfect ones she'd ever had. She skipped over and waved, blushing slightly, as she wasn't sure what to do. She finally settled on letting her hand drop, but her smile never wavered. "Hello again, kind sir who was nice enough to invite me to the most grand event at Hogwarts," she greeted, then giggled, turning red as a tomato. Abigail was light enough without a boyfriend and drama… but with one, she was a helium balloon. "You look outstanding," she added. After the Unknown Classroom, she'd needed time away from him and her uncertain feelings about him, as it would have not helped her depression. However, now that her living and ghost friends had helped her up, she was ready to spend time with him again, show him that he mattered. She was grateful enough that he'd been okay with her escape… she still didn't think she deserved it, but he was too kind. A perfect match for her.

Lyall pulled out his mask from his back pocket, because his creator had forgotten about it, and put it on as quickly as he could with one hand, brushing his hair out of the way once it was in place. He noticed a girl waving at them and cocked his head to the side curiously, but he was in such a good mood that he waved back. “We could grab a bite? No use starting to dance if there’s not very many people out there, and there’s not much of a line yet.” He suggested, grinning at her flirtatiousness. It was times like these that Lyall had to ask himself how he’d ended up in this situation… holding a girl’s hand and offering control of what he did to her. But at the same time, he considered how lucky he must be to have ended up with a girl as beautiful and as entertaining as Kim.

Daisy entered the dance rather sheepishly. She had no friend, no date, and no idea what she was doing there, but a part of her insisted that she make an appearance and so she did. On her mission of self-confidence and independence, Daisy refused to go huddle in a corner like she desperately wished to do, and instead forced her shoulders in line and walked to the food table. She passed Lyall + Kim on her way there, and she briefly paused to wave at her friend(?) before turning her attention back to her destination. Once she'd gathered a small plate, her stomach too topsy-turvey for her to actually eat a meal, she turned and saw her brother, and she gave him a wave as well, smiling to herself as his date arrived.

Zibby strolled in confidently to the Solstice Promenade. She had intended that her and Rafe get there a little earlier but they were a bit preoccupied. She fixed her hair and dress to make sure she didn't look disheveled anymore. She smiled and winked at him as they entered and pointed to a table with drinks. She of course brought a hip flask to add to their drinks.

Rafe strode in alongside Zibby, unable to stop looking very smug and satisfied with himself but oh well. He ran a hand through his messed up hair but had given up on it after how he and Zibby had been preoccupied before. He usually wore it messy anyway so it wouldn't be that noticeably out of the ordinary for him. He winked and smirked back at Zibby before striding over to the table she indicated, gesturing extravagantly for her to sit. "Ladies first."

Zibby headed towards the beverage table and took a cup, filled it and handed it to him. She supposed they could add the contents to the flask when they sat down somewhere. She scanned the room for a clear table and waited for Rafe to be ready. "You can choose the table," she suggested. "I was looking at the one in the corner," she said, nodding towards it.

Rafe was fully aware of what Zibby was planning with what was in her little flask as she had briefed him forehead and with a devious smirk he went and filled his own cup with something from the beverage table before following after her. He looked in the direction she indicated and saw the table and he chuckled and nodded. "That looks perfect to me." He said and led the way to it assuming Zibby followed.

Zibby looked around to make sure no teachers had their eye on her or Rafe. She wasn't exactly a model student, though her grades were good enough. When she was sure they weren't being watched, she followed him and quickly took a seat at the table against the wall so she was sure no one would see her pouring firewhiskey into her drinks. She winked at Rafe and nudged him with the flask.

Aldora entered the Great Hall, her mask on so she was feeling somewhat less awkward. Her sister had told her that she'd meet her there, which was unusual because they'd usually enter any type of events together, if they could. She wondered if her sister had a date or a friend that she was going with, or what she'd be wearing which was another odd thing because they'd usually try to tell each other so that their outfits would compliment one another's. Aldora hadn't really planned on going with anyone, well besides her sister, but knew she had to come even if she didn't want to because her mother would scold her for not going and not being social. She made her way to one of the food tables and started collecting food on a plate.

Rafe watched her for a moment before averting his eyes and acting casual so he wasn't staring. The smirk was still plastered on his face but it looked like he was just having a fine time and why would anyone be suspicious of that? When she nudged him with the flask his smirk widened and he took it, subtly adding it to his own cup. He knew how to be sneaky and devious after all too. His Patronus was a fox as a matter of fact, creatures known for being sly, devious and sneaky. He raised his glass at Zibby and raised his brows before taking a sip and feeling the fiery liquid burning down his throat.

Kim nodded and slightly bit her lip. "sounds like a good idea to me." She had started to walk with him towards one of the tables with food. When she noticed a girl wave at her, she remember the girl she had talked to about Nicole so she waved back to feeling more confident than normal and less awkward. Maybe she should walk around in a mask more. She froze when she spotted Daisy and waved back the part of her felt sad and guilty. She can spend as much time with her as she should've, and she wondered if their friendship is growing apart because she was a death eater and also because she had a boyfriend she missed Daisy and she didn't know what to do about that. She recovered rather quickly though and move towards one of the table so she could get a drink

Liesel ((Abigail/Alia and Daisy/Brittany))

As Jimmy waited for Abigail to arrive, he spotted his younger sister enter the dance, wearing a very pretty dress he remembered her picking out with their mom during spring break. He followed her with his gaze, then waved eagerly in return when Daisy turned to him, her hands full of food he had noticed. He was about to approach her, since he felt bad that his sibling seemed to be all on her own, but then his date arrived. Jimmy quickly winked at Daisy, then turned to Abigail, standing up and straightening his posture. "My lady," he greeted his date with a grin, bending down a little to bow to her. Then, like a true gentleman, he reached for her hand and planted a quick kiss on it, while pulling out the rose he had hidden behind his back and extending it to the girl. When she complimented his looks, Jimmy felt his cheeks flush and smiled brightly. "What shall be said of you then?" he teased, actually looking down at Abigail's outfit and feeling himself blush some more. She looked stunning! He had no idea how he had managed to appeal to such a creature.

Lyall let go of his girlfriend's hand as they began walking, placing his hand at the small of her back instead. "Kim?" He murmured questioningly when she stopped. It could have been for something small or a sudden realization, but at the same time he was afraid that something had triggered her panic again, and if that was the case then he needed to know, so he stopped beside her when she froze, but relaxed as she waved and he noticed Daisy as the recipient. Girl relationships were not something he was well-versed in, there wasn't much he could do as far as those two went, and Kim was already recovering, so he shook the thoughts from his head and smiled as they continued to the table. "Unfortunately, they probably don't have milk." He teased. "So what would you like?"

Asteria entered the Solstice Promenade, a wide grin on her face. She looked around, trying to see if her sister was already there which wasn't that hard to spot since even when wearing a mask Aldora looked awkward. She walked up behind her sister, moving to get food. She greeted her sister and told her that she didn't want to be together for this dance because they were almost always together for these type of things and that she needed to learn to talk to other people. Asteria hadn't meant to sound rude, she just wanted to meet new people and talk to others. And you know, try to make some friends. It sucked feeling lonely. She piled her plate with food before filling a cup with something to drink. Then, turning away from the food table, she spotted a girl sitting alone. She walked up to the girl's table and asked, smiling, "Hey, mind if I sit with you?"

Daisy flashed her brother a smile, showing him that she was alright on her own. She loved him, and she wouldn't dream of distracting him from his date. They seemed cute together, although Daisy took care to avert her eyes because it also made her slightly uncomfortable to think of her brother on a date. She was happy for him though. As these thoughts flashed through her mind and she swirled the straw in her drink, she stared off into space until her reverie was interrupted. Daisy blinked and looked up at the girl, who she knew from their shared dorms/classes but had never talked to very much. "Oh, yes, please do." She smiled brightly, making sure that her plate + drink weren't in the way of Asteria setting her own things down. "What do you think of the decorations?" Daisy asked, ready to make conversation.

Kim hadn't even realized with all of the drama that I've been going on in her life lately that small reactions from her might have garnered a sort of negative response from her boyfriend. And the head she realize that she would've been very upset that she had trouble him at the same time she would've found it very endearing that he was so concerned for her. "Hehe..." she giggled. "well that settles it we have to leave now." She winked at him playfully forgetting she had a mask on and he might not even be able to see the wink. "Well I guess I can stay… But when you and I decide to throw party were going to have to make sure his milk." She tried to sound a little bit haughty. And surprisingly it didn't sound too bad coming out of her. A because she truly didn't mean it. "I'm sure they have punch..." she was one of the rare people that hated pumpkin juice, most juices for that matter. The only one she could ever manage to keep drinking was apple juice every other version of any juice just was disgusting to her.

Lyall gave a dramatic sigh. "Agreed, let's go." He didn't catch her wink, but he laughed when she giggled. "Alright, deal. I suppose we can forgive this party for that one mistake. Though it was a rather grave one." He continued. Not that he was about to comment on it, but the sound of her with such entitled confidence filled him with happiness, even if it wasn't real. One day it would be. "It wouldn't be much of a school dance if there wasn't punch for someone to spike." He agreed, gathering two cups of the stuff and passing one to Kim.

Erin (Hiatus~) | 1317 comments ((Daisy))

Asteria's smile grew as the girl, whose name she remembered as Daisy, agreed to let her sit. "Thank you." She told her, as she put her stuff down on the table and took a seat. "Oh, I absolutely love them! The walls make it feel like we're actually in a tent, the colors fit everything amazingly well and are fantastic for the theme, and the band is put in the most perfect spot!" She replied excitedly in response to Daisy's question. "Oh! And these table decors look so well! An artist could certainly get great inspiration from a room like this." She added, unable to help looking around the room in awe. "What about you? What are your thoughts on how it was set up?" She asked her to keep the conversation going. She took a drink of her punch before sitting the cup back down.

Kim couldn't stop grinning from ear to ear, and playing along with her just made it all the more wonderful, she loved hearing his tone and then we took it to another level talking about how grave the mistake was. She had to admit playing around like this was so much fun and amazing. She took the punch from him and examined it cautiously. "Do you think early enough?" SHe chuckled. She wasn't exactly sure what a magical school would spike Punch with. What it simply be alcohol like any normal school would be something else like a potion. Though since he was about to drink she wasn't going to not drink too so she took a sip.

When Jimmy bowed to Abigail, she decided to give him a small curtsy in return, then giggled again. She normally wasn't such a… girly girl, but he seemed to make her be that way. And in any other circumstance, she would have minded, but not in this one. She drew back in surprise as he kissed her hand, not having expected that, then blushed and took a step forward again. "Sorry," she half stated, half whispered. As he presented her with the rose, a look of delight came over her face. "Thank you!" she said, taking it and giving him a sudden hug. She made sure not to prick him with the thorns. That would not be so plesant. When he complimented her outfit, she smiled and gave a nod of thanks. She hadn't spent time trying to meet endless criteria, but had simply picked out what looked best to her. Since her size was pretty much off the rack, she had many choices. "This is nice!" she commented energetically. "So, how good are you at dancing?" she teased. If he wasn't good at it, she'd be right there with him. She had never taken dance lessons, even when she was very young, because her family hadn't had much money to spend.

((Kim - True! We have a whole lineup of AUs to do xD))

Lyall smiled at the sight of her own expression. When she began examining the punch, he laughed. “I’m pretty sure we’re the first ones to get to the punch, so unless you brought something, I don’t think it’s spiked yet. That usually occurs later, I think.” He wasn’t worried about it, the odds of someone having already gotten to it weren’t very good. Besides, they'd already been pranked once at a dance, so the odds of it happening again also weren't very good. Lyall had been too busy to make many enemies, and he had a feeling that most of Kim's didn't attend the school.

Jimmy smirked as Abigail curtsied to him, beaming at her excitedly. His eyebrows raised slightly when she apologized, he wasn't sure what for, but didn't say anything and just continued smiling down at her. When Abigail accepted his gift and stepped forward to hug him, Jimmy let out a small chuckle, wrapping his arms around her back and giving her a little squeeze. At Abigail's question about dancing, his face became a mixture of amusement and awkwardness. "Well, I am not the best dancer out there, I'll tell you that," he admitted with a wink, hoping and almost certain that the girl would be better at dancing than him anyway. Girls were normally the ones better designed for grace and elegance that was dancing.

After what felt like hours of getting ready, Anna made her appearance at the foot of the great oak doors of the Great Hall. She wasn't sure if Cian had arrived yet or not and so stood by the entrance for a bit, continuously straightening the skirt of her dress which was so puffy that it took up so much space that Anna almost regretted choosing it. Nevertheless, she felt like a fairy in her purple gown and was a little shameful to admit that she was excited to show it off at the party!

Kim wouldn't of left her create or whatever if she could've responded to the thoughts he was thinking, that Kim actually had more enemies than he did when he was raised more to be a death eater while she was just thrust into it by happenstance. "well if you think it safe." She was grinning so much her cheeks were starting to hurt and the muscles pinch she didn't care she loved it! She wondered if this night was going to be even better than their little date they had. Hopefully no parental figure decide to stop by and ruin the event. "The last dance of the year..." The school year of course is what she meant, this was a big school year for her not because she was becoming a teenager next year but more because if they wouldn't be in the same class anymore she wondered if the school would let her skip a year

Daisy nodded in response to the girl’s thanks. She beamed at her positive reaction to the dance, glad that she wasn’t going to sulk or drag the mood down. Not that Daisy would have disliked her for doing so, but it was more fun to stay happy and enjoy the dance. “I agree. It’s rather pretty, and all the colors… not just the decor, but the costumes as well… it’s beautiful.” She smiled curiously. “Are you an artist?” Daisy had little to no drawing ability… she liked to write poetry, but that got a bit depressing after a while. “This is the first time I’ve been to a dance alone… and the last dance I went to was in America, so it’s strange to compare the two. I like Hogwarts’ version better though.” Daisy grinned.

Lyall chuckled at just how big Kim was smiling. It wasn’t a mean laugh or anything, merely a show of his amusement. “I’m sure it is. I think that the people that spike the punch don’t show up this early. It’s more of a halfway through the dance sort of thing.” He shrugged. “Not that I would know.” Lyall groaned when she mentioned that it was the last dance of the year. “Oh, don’t remind me. I’m happy to spend the summer with my uncle again and not have to go back to my parents… and I’m happy that there’s a good chance we’ll be able to see each other rather often… but I vastly prefer the school year to the summer.” He admitted.

I just wish I could skip a year and be in class with you still..." she took another drink and glanced around as more people arrived and mingled. "Too bad I didn't bring something to spike the punch with." She whispered mischievously. Asteria smiled. "Yeah, the costumes also look great." She said in agreement. "Oh no. I pretty much suck at art, although I do love to look at it. I come from a family of creative people, so there's a few people who are artists like my father and my sister." She told her. Now that she actually thought about it she had no real creative ability, besides the fact that she could play an instrument but everyone in her family did. Her mother had made them. She didn't have something unique to her. She'd just have to find something. "Yeah, same actually. Well kinda. I usually go to every dance with my sister because it's the only way she'd actually agree to go to dances because she has really bad anxiety, but I just told her that I didn't want to go with her to this one. I felt like she needed a break from me, even if she doesn't quite feel it herself. And also, maybe I need a break from her too." She said in response to the girl saying this was her first time being a dance alone. "You used to live in America? What's it like?" Asteria asked. "I've never been. Well to be honest, I haven't really been anywhere besides through Hogwarts and then my home. We don't really travel much, although my sister is planning to convince my parents to take us somewhere. She hasn't said where yet though." She grinned brightly when the girl said that she liked Hogwart's dance better. "Yay, I'm glad!" She enthused.

Cian inhaled softly as he walked through the entrance hall, towards the doors to the Great hall. He smiled to himself and straightened out his tuxedo. His large body waltzed through the room, feeling confidence he'd never really felt before. He felt great to be in a suit and on his way to a promenade! He'd never been to one before! He spotted Anna and his eyes lit up. She looked really nice and he felt himself blushing softly. "Hi Anna!", he said cheerfully, continuing his waltz up to her. "You look really nice", he said a little quieter, blushing and looking down at her. She was tiny compared to him, so she really did look like a fairy.

Just more so than now.” He rambled, a luxury he never allowed himself to partake in. “We’ll be fine.” He chuckled at her attempts not to laugh. “You do that.” He winked, smirking at the idea of them being the ones to spike the punch. Especially Kim, who most of the professors saw as innocent… well, most saw as innocent unless they’d seen a glimpse of her dark side. He thought he’d be a likely candidate for speculation though, maybe. “So this summer… you’ll be at my house a lot, I’m sure, for training… but I know I can convince my uncle to let us have some time that doesn’t involve mind tricks and dueling lessons, so what do you want to do?”

Daisy laughed lightly at the girl’s insistence that she wasn’t an artist. “Oh okay. I’m not either, but I do like art.” She smiled. “That sounds fun! My mum is a cosmetologist, which is sort of artistic… but other than that my family’s not creative, at least not in the sense that we paint or do music or anything.” She loved her family dearly, and they were inventive and clever and good-natured, but that’s not the sort of creative they were really discussing. “Oh, how nice of you! Kudos to you for taking that step. I went with friends last year, but they have dates this year… not necessarily that sort of date, but you know… and I had a date to the dance in America. Hey, but going alone isn’t a bad idea, you get to talk to people without having to worry about ignoring the person you’re with.” Daisy grinned. “Oh, well I did for half a year… exchange student at Ilvermorney.” She explained. “It’s like Hogwarts, but wilder.”

Kim was definitely getting in with bad crowds as between Sephiran and Lyall. No one was going to be talking her out of doing that things I feel she's already killed someone. Doing a little prank to the punch with small potatoes, ironically however she could be very innocent. She didn't genuinely wish harm on anyone but a little prank would be fun. "i'm not sure, what would you like to do? I'm open for anything!" She probably wouldn't of said that to just anyone, even though she could be naïve she wasn't stupid. However she trusted him explicitly and would never be afraid of him doing any harm to her

Zibby giggled slightly and nodded her head, toasting her glass to him as well. "I wonder what kind of trouble we can get ourselves into here," she whispered, leaning in close to his ear. She winked at him and grabbed his leg to give it a squeeze. She turned her attention back to the rest of the students nonchalantly and continued to sip her glass.

Anna watched students and teachers file into the Great Hall as she awaited her date just outside the big oak doors. When she saw the figure of the large boy making his way towards her from the Entrance Hall, she smiled hugely and gave him a wave. "Cian!" he exclaimed when the boy approached her, grinning happily as she beamed up at her friend. At his comment, Anna nearly squeaked in happiness. "Thank you! You look amazing, too!" she told the boy brightly, noticing how all dressed up he was.

Sam was starting to wonder why she'd ever agreed to this. Especially when she arrived and realized she was severely under dressed. Not that she'd ever let it show that it bothered her because that'd break her impression that she could care less what other people thought of her. That was true most of the time but when you showed up to a dance in a causal dress that was slightly too short and black combat boots that were slightly scuffed you couldn't help but be aware of the disapproving stares. Fingering a pice if her loose hair she looked around for Ez. It would guttue she'd get stood up the one time she agreed to something like this.

Ez walked into the dance, he felt a little self-conscious because his shoes were nice but they were old and didn't really look like dress shoes aside from being black, the best thing he had was a pair of dark jeans, from three white undershirt that was for her to hot and big for him along with a black vest thing that he hoped gave it a more sophisticated looking those obvious that those clothes were oversized hit either lost weight or got them as hand-me-downs. Not to mention the fact that he had an annoying headache since he had and drinking any blood, so he donned a pair of sunglasses and Ranahan through his newly cut hair hoping he didn't look like an idiot. And that she wasn't allergic to his cologne. He was so relieved when he spotted her she hadn't decided to not show up hopefully shouldn't laugh at him. "Sam." He greeted softly as he approached from behind. "Looking good!" Of course and his opinion he was overdressed he preferred to be more casual anyway even though he was considered significantly less dressed up then probably most people here

Rafe chuckled at the sound of her giggle and winked at her as she toasted. "Loads I'm sure darling." He said amusedly, taking quite a swig from his glass before also looking about at the other people. Some had gone all out for the theme. He was dressed smartly but not in a majorly outgoing way, he had on a dressy red undershirt under his black jacket along with grey dress pants and black dress shoes.

Cian blushed furiously. "My mum made my tux for me", he smiled bashfully at Anna's comment. He thought Anna's happiness was really adorable and he was extremely excited to go to the ball. "O-oh I have something for you", he smiled and pulled out a rose from his pocket. "I- I thought you'd like it", he shrugged, his cheeks red. Cian handed the rose to Anna and bowed slightly, giggling a little.

Cressida waltzed up to the Great Hall, her glittery dress shimmering in the light. She grinned happily, her chin high as she looked around at other students entering the ball. She wondered if Cassius was here yet, but she decided on waiting at the front for him. She really was excited to go to the prom with him. She ran a perfectly manicured hand through her wavy blonde hair as confidence radiated off of her. Cressida's mind flicked to Ezra for some reason, wondering what girl he'd be with tonight.

Asteria nodded when the girl said she wasn't an artist either before asking curiously, eager to know more about Daisy, "What do you like to do?" She took a bite of her food and a sip of her punch before replying. "Yeah, in a few ways I suppose it is fun." She agreed. Although she wasn't feeling completely certain about her words, she knew there was truth in them. When Daisy talked of her mother, again she nodded. "Ooh, that sounds cool and like it'd be fun!" She told her, really interested. "My family is just weird with creative things. Some of the things they do don't seem creative when you think about them, but then they have certain aspects that are. For example, my father is a construction worker and when I was younger I used to wonder what was creative about that. It wasn't until I was much older that I realized that it wasn't the career itself that was creative, but the parts that made up the career. Like getting to choose what projects you want to be a part of, although sometimes there isn't a choice." She gave a smile, taking another drink of her punch. "Yeah, I get what you mean." She said, nodding. She chuckled at the girl's next comment, smiling. "You're right about that by far." She replied in complete agreement. She nodded as Daisy spoke of America and Ilvermorney. "Ah, that makes sense." She said when Daisy explained that she'd been an exchange student at Ilvermorney. At her last comment Asteria simply said, "Huh. How interesting."

Lyall shrugged. “I don’t know, love. I usually spend most of my time training or sleeping or going to Diagon Alley… but I don’t think we should leave the manor so much.” He didn’t want her to be on lockdown or anything, but even he knew that the two of them out in a place like Wizarding London was asking for bad news. And he didn’t think they needed any more of that. “But there’s not a lack of things to do there… and if it’s not there already we can always get it.” He closed his eyes a moment, trying to think of all the things at Montag Manor. “We can go out in the grounds, there’s a lake, of course we have a library…” He smirked. “We can always take over the kitchen, as well.”

Daisy shrugged. “I like to read. And I take walks around the grounds quite a lot… they’re beautiful.” She grinned as the girl explained her family’s creativity. “Yeah, that makes sense! My family’s like that too, just not in their jobs. We’re creative when it comes to fun.” She laughed. "Are you looking forward to summer?"
