July is National Hot Dog Month, so let's take a moment to join in the celebration!
DANCING HOTDOG
RULES: Choose from the list below, selecting a category more than once, if you desire. Also, there is the Spell-It-Out Option. Or you may do a bit of both!

        Read a book set in Nevada or an Amish Romance.
KETCHUP DOG Traditional Hot Dog: (Ketchup, Mustard, Onions, Relish).
        Read a book with a Red, Yellow, Green, or White Cover or a book where someone follows a tradition.
CONEYChili/Coney Dog or Chili Cheese Coney Dog: (An all-beef dog, covered with chili, plus mustard, chopped raw onion, and/or shredded cheddar for a cheese coney.)

CAROLINACarolina Dog, aka Slaw Dog: (All beef dog topped with pulled pork or chili, mustard based bbq sauce, & creamy coleslaw.)
        Read a book set in the American South or a book where a character barbecues.
BAGELBagel Dog/Pig in a Blanket: (Regular or mini hot dog wrapped in everything or poppy seed bagel dough, then baked in a high-heat oven and served with a side of yellow mustard. *Pig in a blanket uses Croissant Dough and occasionally adds cheese.*)
        Read a book with a blanket on the cover, where a character snuggles under a blanket, or where someone goes “undercover.”
REINDEERReindeer Dog: (A sausage made of caribou - not actually reindeer - meat, presented on a steamed bun and finished with onions that are often sauteed in Coca-Cola.)
        Read a book set in Alaska, or where a character that likes to cook with unusual ingredients.
CRABCrab Mac n' Cheese Dog: (A grilled beef hot dog, put in a bun, then loaded with lump crab meat, hot macaroni & cheese, and a generous dusting of Old Bay seasonings.
       Read a book set in Maryland, a book with a sailor/fisherman character, or a book where a character eats a comfort food, like mac & cheese.
ROCKIESRockie Dog: (A foot-long frank, loaded with grilled peppers, sauerkraut, and onions and served in a matching foot-long bun. Beer optional.)
              Read a book set in Colorado, or a book with mountains on the cover.
POTATOMontana Tater Pig/Idaho Super Tuber: (A skinless hot dog baked inside a hollowed-out potato, then split open and stacked high with sour cream, chives, and bacon bits.)
        Read a book set in Montana or Idaho or a book with a character that is a farmer.
GRILLINGOrigins & Hang Out: Hot dogs came to America with the German Immigrants, between 1870 and 1880. They are also a staple of baseball stadiums.
         Read a book with a character that is a German immigrant, or is descended from German immigrants, or where a character is a baseball player/attends a baseball game.

Spell-It-Out: Use a word that reminds you of something about July, or choose one of the words associated with hot dogs, then spell it out. Read books with titles, series names, authors (first or last name), character (first or last name), that begin with letters that correspond to letters of the word you choose. You may ignore the indefinite and definite articles (a, an, the, etc.). Such as:
